I grew up in MA. Spent my first 26 years there. That shot - right at the first Chorus - of the three guys sitting at a crossroads in front of a Bank Of America ATM at dusk - is the perfect representation in one shot of every Worcester/Boston suburb. Amazingly representative.

I hope that was meant as a compliment. As someone from MA, I'm really proud of how we were the first state to legalize gay marriage, and I hope the state can continue to work towards being a safe space for LGBTQ people to live without persecution. Plus we have Barney Frank, and he's pretty cool.

I trust you have been on an Ylvis binge? I'm not deep into Toto but I get a vibe of that in this song. They're buddies with Stargate producers (Rhianna Sia etc) so I just assume they can call in amazing studio artists. I have a great affection for The Cabin by Ylvis too, and of course... oh lord: The Josh Groban-ish "Stonehenge". Vegard replaced Josh Groban on stage in a Norwegian concert to mess with the audience.

As somebody from the town next to Pingryville, it isn't really a real place. Nobody ever talks about Pingryville, not many people live there, and most people just call the area "east Ayer" or "south Littleton."
To their credit, though, there is a dance school in that part of Ayer.

Hehe. Well,they are Norwegian comedians with their own talk show in Norway and have had for years (even before the American «The lonely Island). Ylvis is two brothers, Vegard and Bård Ylvisåker, here with their sidekick Calle). They have made many great songs for their talk show. They also made «The fox» (What does the fox say?) who went viral with 1 billion views worldwide.

Mandela Homes is an apartment complex in Roxbury. Mandela,MA was proposed as a new city in 1986, but was voted down in a referendum. They're not talking about the home of Mandela himself, but of an apartment complex :D
