how did you get the distorted sound on 0:08 and so forth? im a beginner so im new with guitars and im not sure if its the amp or the change in pickup or toning

Hey kind of late hope u figured it out but I get a similar tone by using the clean settings on my amp I use the MOD effect on my amp and the bridge pickup on my guitar I use a boss katana amp
