Wow, this is the first time I saw the full body of Aeshi Nero and not just some concept art of it. Also SNK must REALLY love Jupiter King for them to use Perfect Jupiter King a lot.
@@MegaYoYoYeah it was a mobile game before it got ported to steam so they can just add a bunch of character to the game. There is even a Golden phoenix Slug that also got reused in the pachinko game and the MS4 final boss got his own faction too.
Morden's defeat speech sounds like it should have played before phase 3, not after. And in general, final phase feels like a last minute afterthought. They were just in a factory, why is everyone suddenly falling from the sky? Why does the twice wrecked robot suddenly fly while otherwise Morden has to call for evac chopper? My bet is, the devs wanted a wholly new sprite of some empowered transformation but ran out of time. Note that phase 2, while an obvious reference to Perfect Jupiter King, isn't actually it: it still needs wings and beefier armor.

This game looks GREAT! I haven't play it, but imo it lacks some content, i haven't seen any trace of the mars people or tank morder, iron nokana would have be a nice boss to battle, i would love they add some extra content in the future even if i have to pay for it. But knowing SNK that most likely won't happen.😅
I’m surprised there were no mats people as well. I would’ve like more variety from the bosses. Seeing a lot of them from Metal Slug 2/X made me feel that this was a remake
@MegaYoYo It used wheels in the mobile game Metal Slug Attack since it needs to be on a ground somehow and the original sprite make it seem like it is on a rail
@@MegaYoYoI thought it was running in the same speed as the train, losing its speed upon defeat. The mobile game sprite is stuck in my head and I can't think otherwise 😅
@@gestalt7529 Even by Metal Slug dieselpunk insanity standards, it's a highly suspect design because it had to get over the locomotive somehow to straddle the train like that, and it's not tall enough even when using the underbelly gun. I guess it was inspired by gantry cranes which have four legs with wheels, but obviously are much taller and only operate in cargo stations where special tracks are laid out for them on both sides of the trains.
I enjoy this game but it's way too difficult. I just started, manage to reach the second boss. Having 2 phases with mobs and removing blow and guide missiles. It's comon...
@@MegaYoYo I'm at the beginning, still the first 3 main character. Only have 3 hours play time. For the first boss, I did understand you have to rush him. But the second boss, the second phase, I'm not sure how I'm suppose to defeat him, when I have no choice to move on each turn to avoid the floor collapse.
@@marc-andrelachapelle5707 I'm assuming the 2nd boss is Dragon Nosuke? Try not to follow him. Anticipate where it'll be in the next round and try to clear that area of enemies. Eri's grenade gives her great sync attack opportunities. Also, if you see those spring leafs on a floor, use them. They can set up favorable positions

I'm trying to understand how to get the true ending. Ok, I completed a run and then I also completed a run beating Allen... but nothing happens! Allen was inside the Jupiter King! Am I doing ok? I mean, now I should go for other 2 runs beating the other 2 generals?
@@lorenzomagni732 I only stay with the three on the left. I never go for the fourth. It's a tough mission but I recommend taking leona, ralf, and eri. They can cover a lot of area with their attacks

No slug gunner here. The only slugs I've run into are the Metal Slug and Slugnoi

Its mostly just metal slug 2 bosses and the third boss from metal slug 3 is the final boss. Quite disapointing.
For that reason I thought it was a retelling of Meta Slug 2

You are on the correct route. Everytime you start a new run you'll fight a new general. After your 4th run you should be able to do a true run
