As much as everyone including the video thinks that he really is saying something, that reality is that he isn't, it really is just random gibberish. We humans simply try to fill in the gapes when we hear random gibberish, infact I'd argue the fact that we can't tell what he's saying, or even if it is really Doug, makes it scarier.

@@Pyro725 It's unknown how old he is exactly, and it's possible that he was there when the Aperture Image Format was created in 1985 (he was in charge of maintaining it), which _could_ make him old enough to be Chell's father - but I still find it incredibly unlikely. I think Doug would have been far too paranoid to ever involve his daughter with Aperture, for one thing - but if every character that made it into the events of Portal and Portal 2 just so happened to _ALSO_ be related to each other (because a lot of people also think that Chell was Cave and Caroline's daughter, and Doug adopted her from them / raised her after they died), I would just find that INCREDIBLY boring and lazy of the writers, and we all know that Valve hired _far_ better writers than that for Portal.

waring spoilers!!!! I find this weird but when Wheatley takes control of aperture where the hell is rattmann he's no where to be seen him after that plus he's dens might be destroyed because of Wheatley new or copy and mashup tests
rattan sadly died at the ending of portal the first he was shot in the leg by a turret and slowly loss blood and he fell uncontious (I misspelled it I meant that he loss so much blood he fell asleep) so when he awoken he made it to the sleeping facility control room he turned on the oxygen and cyro so that meant that cell will survive but there is no way to wake her up. after that Rattman crawled to a resting chamber and climbed in to the bed and fell asleep and died. how do I know all this ? @@Pyro725 It's unknown how old he is exactly, and it's possible that he was there when the Aperture Image Format was created in 1985 (he was in charge of maintaining it), which _could_ make him old enough to be Chell's father - but I still find it incredibly unlikely. I think Doug would have been far too paranoid to ever involve his daughter with Aperture, for one thing - but if every character that made it into the events of Portal and Portal 2 just so happened to _ALSO_ be related to each other (because a lot of people also think that Chell was Cave and Caroline's daughter, and Doug adopted her from them / raised her after they died), I would just find that INCREDIBLY boring and lazy of the writers, and we all know that Valve hired _far_ better writers than that for Portal.

rattan sadly died at the ending of portal the first he was shot in the leg by a turret and slowly loss blood and he fell uncontious (I misspelled it I meant that he loss so much blood he fell asleep) so when he awoken he made it to the sleeping facility control room he turned on the oxygen and cyro so that meant that cell will survive but there is no way to wake her up. after that Rattman crawled to a resting chamber and climbed in to the bed and fell asleep and died. how do I know all this ? I read the comics
