Thanks for checking out the channel 🙏🏾 I try to find more obscure and interesting kicks. I’m a sneaker lover, I’ve got stacks of Jordans but that’s just nostalgia and too easy, boring really. Since my high school days I’ve always like the weird and interesting stuff. I’ll do a few retro reviews on some of the things I’ve found over the years. Thanks for chiming in!
There’s so much out there to be seen, it may depend on the sport because sport is social. Running is probably to most neutrally global, social and democratic, so if they keep dropping dope trainers they’ll pop
@@RDQLUS personally i dont think that matters as much as just their innovation in general. they make designer clothing running and everything else, I think if fashion icons pick them up , or they keep coming with new tech, so on
@@thefrankbaca but that’s what I mean. Until they flex that designer stuff here, their exposure will remain dependent upon the sport and spokesperson. The collaboration they did with Danish boutique brand Soulland is exactly what you’re talking about, but that was so small they can barely be found. Check out my review on those (I found them 😉).

Thank you so much for stopping by! Yes, this shadow is Calle Jue Ying. When I was researching to find more, it seems that several models are named Jue Ying and it seems that happens if they are marketed in-or the sale/marketing originates-in China. Outside of that market, I’ve found them to be named “Shadow.” They are extremely rare to find. I’ve found some smaller sizes out of Canada and on eBay. I’m about to bid on a pair of the Soulland x Li-Ning Shadow collaboration on Stock X… wish me luck! 😉🤞🏾
@@RDQLUS Hi. :) It is available in my part of the world but only men's sizes, so I crrrryyyy. I wish you well in your hunt then. As they say, "jiayou!."
Thx 🙏🏾 Very good question! They are unique to themselves, unlike anything I’ve felt, but definitely further away from the NB More thank the Glycerin. They are snappy and responsive like the G20
Did you get yourself a pair of the Soulland x Li ning Shadow yet ? I am an passionate runner/athlete, and been into running most of my life. Running shoes and shoe tech is something i find very very interesting and a fun hobby in its own. I purchased the Li Ning Feidian Elite 2.0 a few months back, what an ridiculous fun good fast phenomenal shoe that is !! i was blown away, i have tried most of the top carbon plated supershoes out there, Nike, Saucony, Puma, Asics,Hoka and so on, The Feidian Elite 2.0 is by far the number one! Just recently the new version that is coming early 2023 ,The FEIDIAN 3 ULTRA was worn to a third-place finish in the Berlin Marathon by Ethiopia’s Tadu Abate, who posted a time of 2:06:28. Compatriot Limenih Getachew was not far behind, with a 2:07:07 run wearing the same shoes. Li ning is taking over :)
I never got my hands on a pair. Still searching. I’m leery of ordering from the Chinese sites because I can never tell if I’m on the real site or if it’s legit. I want a pair of the Shadow badly!
I can get these Li-Ning Shadow Essential for 80$, or the OneMix Light Armor for 67$. What would you recommend buying? I don't care about the price (can get both for really cheap), so lets say the prices of the two are the same, which is better?
Honestly they are built very differently so it would depend on the the use case. How are you going to be using them? Race day or training? I’m not sure I would train in the OneMix Light Armor, and I don’t think I would race in the Li-ning Shadow.
Brother, I can seriously tell you that OneMix Light Armor is a very poor shoe, which has a very poor evaluation in China. It is very uneconomical to buy it at $67. I have a pair of Li_Ning Shadow Essential, and its performance is very surprising. I hope I can recommend it to you to try.
@@鲸落-n9d I have the Shadow and Shadow Essential, both very good. But I need my information than just your opinion about the OneMix; tell me more about their poor evaluation in China. That’s very interesting. Thanks 🙏🏾
@@RDQLUS The price of Shadow is relatively high. I don't have it. I only have Shadow Essential. I think this is a good pair of shoes. Their bad reviews in China focus on the fact that the midsole is too high, unstable and easy to sprain. Shadow Essential has been optimized in these aspects because of the change of midsole. The shortcomings of OneMix Light Armor in the evaluation of most running shoes in China are ugliness, high price and heavier than the same type of running shoes. My English is not good, so I use translation software to understand your meaning and translate what I said to you. I hope you can understand it.
@@鲸落-n9d that was perfectly understandable, and thank you for the information. It’s very interesting to hear reviews from other parts of the world. I will agree that the Shadow sits high, also it’s very very narrow. That was surprising to me. The height isn’t the likely reason for sprints, it may be the narrow base.
I wouldn’t. These would ideally be a specific use case, like tempo runs with efficient strides. That bounce would be hard to sustain over long periods. The foot has to do the work itself. Long periods in these begins to stress my plantar fascia. But that’s just me.
@@RDQLUS Thanks man...just picked up a pair from the eBay seller I found. Not the colorway you have, which I really like...but, I want to see how they are for a daily run trainer. Do you think that this essential is more similar to a New balance more 4 or a brooks glycerin 20 in terms of cushioning?
