@@nevencovic2804 Yes, after the first year, a contract was signed for 3 more. So we hang out with WRC for another two years. See you in 2023! 💪👌
@@silvioj5403 Thats false. Croatia in 2020 signed for 2 years +1 (which will be 2023). And they have on table new 2 year deal for 2024 and 2025. But they didnt accept it yet cause it will depend if they will have support from Croatia's goverment and sponsors so they can have profit or even make it even after the event. Last 2 years they were in huge deficit/minus. So yeah... next year for sure but later is not in their hands tbh
Is it scheduled for 2023? I know that it had 1+1 contract (2021 and 2022).

I got so emotional for Kalle. His drive on that last stage was incredible. Every turn was done with everything he and the car got. Thierry is fighter on another level. True warrior spirit.

I agree, one of the most dramatic and interesting rally finishes over the years.
Both drivers are absolute favorites, Tänak & Rovanperä.
The talent and skill of these drivers at this level is incredible a great spectacle

Inspite of the fact that Kalle won. TÄNAK gave him a lot of heart beats.
Never seen a rally with so many penalties to one driver but still managed 3rd.. oh my goodness. RALLY CROATIA was splendid awesome remarkable and sensational

Between Loeb and Rovanperä, this has been an amazing WRC so far! No doubt this kid will "grow" to be one of the greatest rally drivers of all time.
It's insane how he can do this already, rally being a veterans sport famously.
Kalle started to drive at age of 6 and started to practice rally at age of 8
This was one of the best finishes I've ever seen in the WRC! Tänak pushed Rovanperä all the way on Sunday but Booy did the lad respond in style! KR69 is a future world champion.

Most dramatic finish they say, but remember until now many said that most dramatic finish was last year's battle Ogier-Evans also in Croatia! Everything points to entertainment level of this rally! Stay in Croatia!

I hawe been watin since 2002 for one of my country men to take the title,now it looks like kalle will take it,such raw talent,began to drive at 8 years old,he is the new sebs
I remember one fight against Gronholm and Loeb, from New Zealand, they nailed 0.1 second cap at the finnish line, but this was a comeback of the century, and from my opinion, from about 2.5 minutes lead to 2 second behind, it has to be hard to pick your self up and give it that final push.
this was one of the most EPIC power stages in history. the most epic i could say. This is what rally driving is at its best.

I find myself watching and enjoying the Red Bull Rally videos more than the actual WRC channel videos. I feel WRC needs to rethink how they are sharing highlights and how to keep the attention of a viewer. Red Bull is definitely doing it right.

Its the sort of drive that reminds me of McRae overcoming Sainz on the last stage of the 1997 Tour de Corse. If people are not aware of that one, go and watch that rally's highlights. Another classic that helped build McRae's legend for blistering speed. Kalle is the same - but with a greater ability to keep it on the road in the tight fights than McRae.

Tanak truly regretting his decision to leave Toyota for Hyundai. The GR yaris was bred to Rally. Nothing elss.
I will never understand his switch to Hyundai.
The GR Yaris never got used for rally though. It was built to be a homologation base for 2021 car, but with covid and shortened season they eventually scrapped the plans and continued with 2020 car. And from 2022 there are new regulations with the spaceframe chassis design which doesn't have to follow the road car dimensions closely anymore, so there's no need to use homologation specials like GR Yaris anymore.
@@GranDaddo I read somewhere his manager sought a better financial deal with Hyundai. He crashed a lot more with Hyundai 😅
@@kalsaumesatungiamata9066 Hyundai is not bad team or i20 bad car. There is no guarantees that he would be better in Toyota. Hyundai will still consider him long term even after Thierry leaves. Not bad place to be #1 driver.

Fastest ever rally cars, on stage. Broup B cars, back in the days, were powerful, but they would have had no chance against these modern cars, on stage.

me, like how to recharger battery, i guess because not racing at race track, so cant like f1 car can mapping,set to where can recharger to maximum efficiency, rally racing looks like full throttle all the time, and use throttle a lot to control the car,not sure energy recover is simple or complicated for hybrid rally car.

yeah, crews travel from stage to stage using normal road traffic. He was caught speeding 159kph on 80kph. "Art. 34.3.1 of the 2022 FIA WRC Sporting Regulations stipulates that throughout the rally, both crew members must observe the national traffic laws. "
