    Greetings from Ireland, We have fifty two pots of perennials in the front garden and six pots of annuals on the front windowsills. We have a lot of drought tolerant perennials in the pots like agapanthus, salvias, alstroemeria, sage caradonna, sedums, cacti, delosperma, lavender, echinacea, gaura and coreopsis. We have African daisies growing on the windowsills which don't need a lot of water. We have flowerbeds with a lot of drought tolerant plants. We use watering cans for the flowerbeds and pots and just give them enough to keep going.

    I water every 12 hours since our weather is 95 to 105 degrees full sun. My question would be how many times do I fertilizer with Beat Your Neighbor for the fertilizer to not be washed out completely and be able to do its job?
    My many large pots and large baskets are looking fabulous so far. Love that fertilizer. I lift up my petunias (and everything) and water from below, not getting the foliage wet.

    Would you deadhead this medley? Every year I buy this mix and it doesn’t do well through the summer. at times I think I was deadheading wrong. Could you please tell me if you deadhead yours or just the flowers fall naturally? Thank you so much. I love your channel !

      We do deadhead weekly any of the combo baskets that have verbena, that keeps it looking great.

    When fertilizing every 4 days approximately what strength do you dilute the fertilizer down to???

    • @SharkeysFloralGreenhouses
      @SharkeysFloralGreenhouses  25 дней назад

      Half to full strength for every 4 days. Once a week is minimal feed, so you will not be over-doing it by feeding every 4 days.

    Can you please tell me if I should water my containers before watering with fertilizer? Does the soil need to be wet to hold on to the fertilizer?

    • @SharkeysFloralGreenhouses
      @SharkeysFloralGreenhouses  23 дня назад

      The soil does not need to be wet. Fertilizing is just watering with nutrients in the water so just water like normal.
