It worked for me!
Basically make sure the metal prongs are connecting to the printer cartridge, you might need to clean off the gold plated chip on the ink cartridge. Or use a tool to lightly align the metal cog thingies so that everything is touching...
If this is still too hard then ask a Millennial or Zoomer if they can figure it out.
