    Okay I know it's always summer in Singapore, but I think I still prefer the Launch Edition colours; particularly when it's winter where I am at the moment! But really, the darker colours just suit my personality better, as opposed to cheerfully loud schemes.
    Thank you for piquing my interest in flourishing, I only found out about the art a few months ago through you guys. :)

      I am some random guy on the internet, paying him my respect to the art of card manipulation and wanted to become as good as him. If we conzentrate on the important things in life and not on what some boy said on the internet 6 years ago, we all would be happier people no matter which race we all are.
      And I'm sorry if you get a lot of racist comments yourself. I don't know you.

      Would be dysfunctional, since decks are slightly bent, and all cards are equal on both sides, you would loose them, and make big airpockets everywhere; + alot of people reel others in by their flourishing to do magic.

Or like when you suddenly discover the meaning of the universe, or reach a higher state of consciousness, for a second, and in that moment everything seems so simple that there is nothing left to do but laugh. Maybe that's what happened. The level of that anaconda is just beyond! I'm sure there would be peace in the world if everyone watched this video.

    I have some questions. How long have you been flourishing for? when you first started what flourishes did you start off with and how long did it take for you to learn each one? Also now how long does it take for you to learn a new flourish? Do you still drop cards a lot when you are practicing?

    • @thevirts7058
      @thevirts7058 10 лет назад +1

      1. Over 10 years each.
      2. There wasn't a lot published back then so we had to make do with what was available, so mostly stuff that's considered 'classic' these days. It takes us a couple of days on average for us to familiarise ourselves with the mechanics of a move, then the rest of our lives to perfect it.
      3. Ditto.
      4. Of course! Just never on camera :D

They are all piled together in a video called 'my introduction to cardistry' Do you have any advice on what i can do to make it easier to learn flourishes?

    • @thevirts7058
      @thevirts7058 10 лет назад +4

      Cardmaster Andmagic We'll be posting more on this on our website in the future, but for now the short version is this:
      When you're learning a new flourish, break it down into tiny 'chunks'. Master each chunk before moving on to the next one. Practice *slowly*. Pay mad attention to details. And finally, once you've got all those chunks down, work on transitioning smoothly between each one so that, in the end, there's absolutely *no hesitation* at all when you execute the entire flourish sequence.
      That, my friend, is the lowdown on how to become a certified flourishing ninja master.

      Thanks. I will be sure to do that. At the moment i am just trying to do as much of the flourish as i can before i start dropping them. Guess that isnt the way to learn them as i find it extremely hard to learn them. Thanks again.

    Hi guys!
    I was watching some magic tricks and I stumbled across a vid of you performing the Flicker Shot.
    After that I think I'm in love with cardistry I've been watching videos over and over and I really want to practice it.
    But as I have no experience in cardistry I wanted to know if this deck is helpful for beginners or another one would be better.
