Robert has come full circle. From when he started he only cared about himself and did everything he could to avoid getting caught (katie's death). Then Aaron made him a better person and now he's handing himself in to make sure someone else will have a better life. Love a good character development!
Have to say I agree, he couldn't drag Aaron away from Chss and Liv so he handed himself in - him being selfless for love. He knows it is the best for Aaron in the long run.
It irritates me that Aaron’s family after the fact convince Aaron that Robert was being selfish. When they should have reminded Aaron that Robert did this out of love and he wanted Aaron to live a full and happy life, not to live a life on the run.
Anyone else reminiscing about three years ago when Aaron and Robert had Lachlan in the boot of their car, a policeman thought they had a quickie out in the woods and Robert tried to propose to Aaron? Much better, simpler times

I’ll tell ya what.... Danny Miller is an actor at the top of his game. He plays Aaron flawlessly and delivers emotions with so much passion I feel them with him. I know Aaron will head down a dark path after losing his soulmate but Danny will without a shadow of a doubt carry on and display his pure insane talent and do Robron proud. This guy deserves a lot more attention than he gets. Amazing!
Hopefully the character of Robert returns. No one touches the heart of Aaron like he does, and nothing will be the same. It has been proven to us time and again. They both did a stellar job with what the writers gave them. Good luck Emmerdale on getting me and the rest of us back. Never screw a end to a powerful legacy couple like this. THIS HURTS! When the news broke out of Ryan's departure I figured it would be sometime around December, but I just feel like its all happening so quick and its hard to watch as an avid fan of these two mainly because of how poorly its being executed. Wish we gotten some memorable Robron scenes kinda like the ones of them in the woods just now. They deserved so much better, im heartbroken and a weeping mess :(
At least, they did some things right: I'm glad Aaron didn't choose his brat sis over Robert. He was decided to send her back because he wanted to protect her but he didn't leave his husband. And I would've prefer for them to stay together but, given the circumstances, I'm glad Robbie did that sacrifice for Aaron, he chose for him because he saw he was suffering but would never back out. If that doesn't prove Chas that Robbie loves her son, nothing will. 😍 Also, it makes sense now that Rob handed in his watch (which has their wedding dates engraved in it), it wasn't for Seb, it was for Aaron. 😢
Oh god these two amazing boys. They're as in love as ever. Aaron's cries at the end, I felt that in my bones, and Robert watching him fall apart as he drives by. Oh gosh. I spent a good deal of last night making my self cry thinking about them.

Robert's love for Aaron is true and selfless. He does not want Aaron to live a life on the run even if it means letting Aaron go. Regardless of the divorce and the apparent shutdown of communication between them, I know that Robert loves Aaron deeply. No one can love Aaron the way Robert does.

Without Ben and Callum's story (and what a great story it is!) I might be much more emotional and upset, but now it feels almost easy to say goodbye to Robron and a big hello to Ballum.

Well, that's it for me ... I just can't put up with watching this show anymore. The love story between Aaron and Robert was so memorable at times and had many magnificent moments of passion and deep love. But the script-writers just can't resist turning it into a farce and watching has just become unpleasant. You know, just sharing in Aaron and Robert's everyday life and love was more than enough for me and for many other viewers, I dare say. But they've turned it into a constant stream of farcical plots, one after the other. It's too much, can't be bothered anymore. Goodbye Aaron, goodbye Robert. I'll always remember the good times, and always remember Aaron's fantastic good looks, but I can do without all the bad that the directors make us go through.

Robert attacked and hospitalised Lee, the man who raped Victoria. Lee later died in hospital from his injuries, so Rob & Aaron decided to go on the run to prevent Robert from being charged with murder.
