it is such a high, a buzz, to finally get the footage we wanted for so long. some nice clips there, and that barn owl, was amazing. so awesome to be able to see them in the wild where they belong, just going about their day hunting. a wonderful video.
@@DrewWebbWild it is awesome when a plan all falls into place. i think we can be naturally sceptical of tip offs, especially as we may have waited for such a long time to get the images and shots we hope for. great work, glad the tip came through for you :)
As long as you stick to the native it’s not horrific but it will never be as good as a full frame like the fx3. It has its pros and cons the reach for example is great overall I think it’s a great wildlife camera as long as you’re not filming in the dark
Thank for watching, The reason for this is the frame rate and shutter speed of the camera. it was shot at 100 fps and using the 180 rule the shutter speed would have been approximately 1/200sec. to achieve the cinematic smooth motion this would then be slowed down to 4x slower than real life but I made the decision to mix slow motion with normal speed so as not to overuse slow motion. I think with any slow motion footage there always needs to be a consideration about story and in this one I liked the mix of the two speeds but it does give that jittering affect with any fast moving subject. Good eye for spotting it!
Fantastic story fantastic footage thank you for sharing

It was great I’m always sceptical when I get a tip especially with owls but in this trip everything fell into place.

excelentes imágenes..
Thank you
nice video
The only thing missing from the a7iv is 4k 120 and fx 30 has it but how do you think it performs in low light when you need that shutter to be 1/250 ?

I like the video, but why is the bird moving scenes so choppy?
Or is it RUclips compression?
