I have one of The Night Before Christmas books. My dad read from it until I got married and took it with me. It is one of my oldest memories and I am 68. Recently my daughter found a book of Christmas stories that included A VISIT FROM ST. NICHOLAS which is the real title. Copies over the years made changes such the title, Happy Christmas to Merry Christmas, Donder to Donner. Donder means thunder. Donner was a name of a family heading west and started freezing and starving. They would look at each other wondering who was going to be their next meal. Brains was changed to heads. There are more changes. The original worded story is practically impossible to find. And, there is no Santa Claus; only St. Nicholas. So jealous of your haul.
OMG!!!!!....Im so happy I stumbled upon your channel.......this estate sale would be my dream as well.....I was so excited watching and I could feel your excitement too........I also LOVE LOVE LOVE Holt Howard but have only a tiny bit of him in my collection....I also love the Lefton angel figurines....SO STINKIN ADORABLE!!!........thank you girls so much for making these videos....I can't stop watching them!!!.....:-D

I love seeing ur crazy as enthusiastic approach to Christmas I love vintage Christmas have my Great Grandparents Christmas trees and all the decorations from the 40s and 50s...back in those days things were made to last and arent we lucky ...definitely one of my greatest treasures...thank u Doggos Smiling Brite

That was SUCH a great sale!! All of that vintage Christmas!! I would have bought it all!! And, I would have gotten the Scobby Do ghost mansion because it would be really cute for displaying the vintage Halloween figurines you bought.
That sale looked like more fun than going to a Disney theme park. That truly was a once in a lifetime experience.I hope I can stumble upon a sale this epic one day.

You are going to be on a Holt Howard high for the next week. It's going to be hard to top that one. So many great pieces and in great condition too. I would love to find more HH in our area. Those noel candle climbers were my favorite. I have also had my eye on the little roly poly santa, I had know idea there was a big one, now I want that one too lol!!! The felt Santa Christmas card holder. I have been lucky to find two different looking Santa’s but the same concept felt and sequins. My daughter is just starting to collect Santa mugs. Oh my goodness! My 8 yr old granddaughter is a Snoopy collector-I was dying watching all of them left behind. Fantastic haul girls. So happy for you! (Only way it could have been better is if they would have had ceramic Christmas trees there!) 😊
