Sorry for the delayed reply - still going strong. I purchased a different pair of a different size and did not like them as much as these. I washed them and have been using them instead of the new pair I bought!
Great comparison! Thank you! How'd you size your VG? I'm between their XL and 2XL but leaning towards 2XL from their sizing chart. Any harm in having little extra material if I go bigger in your opinion?
I think it depends on what you’re trying to accomplish. If you are working on grip strength and endurance and your hands are torn up, sure throw em on, a little chalk and you’re hands should be good to go. I would say primarily though, these grips would be more for gymnastic work - at least that’s where you see them most used.
Sid, gymnastics is an integral part of CrossFit’s health and fitness model. Olympic gymnasts use grips, why should CrossFit be different? Gymnastic movements are awesome, and no one wants to rip their hands open while doing the movements - that would be silly. Protect your hands! 😃
Thank for for the review man , I’ve done a few comps with gym gloves , but I’m looking to step up my game with these grips !!
I always struggle with size. Hate to spend that kind of money and not get the right size
Any helpful hints?
What's better for a beginner, fingerless or 3/4 hole grips?
Will it protect under the thumb pain? Both kinds of grips,im searching full protection for only heavy pullups with 40kg extra on me
With both grips, the thumb is left uncovered. If you want thumb coverage you may need to wear a glove
nowadays, 11 months later, how is this grips? how is their durability?

I don’t think there would be much of an issue going 2XL in my opinion - now that I have the extra material, I appreciate it more.
@@TheBickelsWorksInProgressamazing thank you so much! I really appreciate the feedback
Sweet Dad, including your son
Great review. Much appreciated!
Interesting that you didn't actually use them, do some bar work to demonstrate them...!!?? Missed Opportunity! Still, great job describing them!
Would these be useful for kettlebell training?

There should be no gripping devices allowed in cross fit competitions.

@@TheBickelsWorksInProgress Neither should be allowed in gymnastics nor powerlifting, weightlifting. Toughen your hands. Just another crutch.
Clearly doesn’t to rig work
