Here are a few things I noticed while doing this from 43-50.
1. The reset in the cave doesn't always work. Sometimes the boss will not reset and you're stuck there forever unless you run out.
2. When running towards the juggle spot to begin the pull my recommendation is to flamestrike the first pack on the left of the boss, living bomb any mob that might be at risk of not getting pulled, and living bomb the far pack on the left of the long ledge (NOT FLAMESTRIKE) because you might otherwise spend too much time and have the first pack reset. You need to jump as soon as possible to the second spot of the juggle to cleanly pull everything.
3. When you jump to the second spot of the juggle coming from the long ledge, do NOT stand too close to the corridor while the mobs are all coming. If you stand too close, they will be able to hit you while running past and they might kill you.
I've been doing this last couple days and agree 100% with all of this. Found some of them out myself the hard way. Great comment

Btw, the little fountain thing at 5:19 is also a reset spot, jump in there and /sleep. Its way faster than going back up
anything more specific? i tried it a few times and couldn't do it
@@t0o0o0o0o0oty U have to jump off the grave closest to it to make the jump, then /sleep. Sometimes you get a stubborn mob but if you do just nova it and go up to the normal spot. But 80% of the time it works and means u can start Ur runs faster, as u can. Just mount up and agro boss and start Ur normal zombie run quicker.
Go to jokerd video on the run, and go to 15:20 to see the jump

tip. enchant boots with minor speed to make jump slightly easier. it makes a difference
Any tips for the boss? I ran there like 3 times cleanly today and the boss just ran up to the wall while I was jumping and just bolted me to death

what's that red buff you get around you when you cast living bomb? looks like innervate buff in the top right but not sure what it is
i believe its the gnomer 3 set bonus. it has a % chance to proc and gives i believe 40 power on proc.
where do people need to stand in the boost to get xp from this farm?
fyi go do the skeletons by chillwind camp and get the ARGENT DAWN REP. the reason why is for the mana food. Enriched Manna Biscuit

At 9:17 you cut the clip and 16 minutes have passed and you have a bunch more XP. Did you do another pull somewhere else or what happened?
He has reset and done it again while not recording, then started recording again after his clear to show the log out skip to the entrance.

There’s a reset spot to the right of where you went left on the wall. The right wall you can get on by jumping on the corner of it

Interface > Keybindings > Targeting > Interact with Mouseover -> Scroll Up and Down for me since it's way faster also for PvP (WSG Flag Picking) and looting

Any tips for doing this at 40 ? Or is double invis pot the only way ?(im too broke for that considering how high the price is gonna be for the regular pots at the start of phase lol)
You can get away with using 1 invis pot at 40. Just need to go up on the left wall just past the last group of mobs in first area. Need to jump up a lot tho
2 questions, how do you make sure the boss doesnt come with the zombies and how do you use scroll wheel to click the graves?
Scroll wheel to open graves seems to take about as much time as right clicking. The boss takes a minute to aggro, so by the time he aggros you, you're in the reset spot. In kill phase, boss resets when he turns corner.

blizzard build didnt work right or? i try with lvl 50 mage and blizzard but my blizzard never freeze enemys or only hit 2-3 times ..... you think blizzard is useless atm?
Did they fix this? I'm 43, and doing this exactly as demonstrated and I'm getting the mobs to ~50% HP by the time I'm oom, used my mana gem, and used evocation. There's no healing totems being put down. I have 3500 mana. Maybe this only works if you're full BiS from the previous phase?

No you just buy Dual-Specialization first. Theres a Dwarf in the Forlorn Cavern in IF that sells it for 50g.
I remember doing this in classic and holy shit that kill phase was insanely fast. You can definitely do this lower levels in SoD.
The biggest problem is getting to the pull
The killphase is a non issue
At 40 it’s pretty darn hard even in dropped out gnomer gear (the token set instead of irradiated ofc) I just get killed mid route without even getting dazed lol

yo this fire build works insane in cath solo too u just gotta pre clear a couple mobs was able to do 12-15 min runs 200-250k/hr till lvl 45 then move here
When I do this boss is not resetting he keep using shadow bolt from far, what do i do

If you plan to sell boost in ZF, best is to farm princess dagger, it does proc everytime and you are never oom even without clearcasting :)

not sure if I just need to buy some intellect pieces or focus more on non fire damage sets cause i was hard running out of mana at about 50%hp
I think the problem is not the mana pool but the crit rate you have, the more you crit, the more master of elements will refund you. I am running into the same problem atm :/ Gonna try with world buffs that should help a bunch
Faster killing, more mana return, should do the trick hopefully

@@enozgmygee its a talent in the, not sure actually, fire or arcane talent tree. The icon looks like the typical element icon from blizz. It gives back a certain amount of your mana when you crit with non periodic (fire) spells
Are they immune to slows? Frost trap doesn’t seem to affect them.

FYI viewers!!!!! to logout he got a suggestion from a viewer to instead wait for the cave guy to come out more then run in get on cauldron then jump on the CAGE TO /CAMP logout. works way better and faster@@
im getting like hit like a truck from the mobs they delete my shields instantly running to the safe spots how dose he not take any damage

doesnt work well with mana as shown here in the video.
have to use 2-3 gems, evocate and still have to wait alot for mana to come back :(
dont know why - just did 3 runs and got them mostly together.
took like 10-12 minutes each run (which would be fine since you can only go 4-5 an hour)

Not sure if its a gear thing since im in mostly greens but I go oom in like 15 secsd doing this so not really compatible for those with shit gear.
I did it with all greens. You just have to make sure they’re grouped nicely. Use your first mana gem ASAP and try to evocate before they get the run speed. Then use mana potion if needed before your second mana gem. Sometimes I still needed to juggle for a minute or two to regen mana for the last couple of stragglers if they weren’t grouped but it’s doable.
Also I found with all greens running Burnout was not feasible until I was like 49. Mana just went down too fast and since I didn’t have a shit load of spell power mobs had too much health leftover to juggle and regen.
@@soloist7781 Ya i did all this and still oom in the first minute or so. I was able to do the pull but takes a long time with being oom for most the fight. Was using mana gems and mana pots + evo
@@dw7276 Idk then. I would have to see a clip of how you're managing mana and grouping to give more advice. It is doable in all greens/shit gear.
the first reset spot still works, you just cant enter the spot while being mounted, and like other comments have said there is a reset spot behind the pots at TS 2:22 and there is a reset spot on top of the wall to the right at TS 1:28 tho that one requires a weird jump while mounted ( also if you tap Left or right while mid air during the jumps the mobs will think you are going to land on the ground bellow as you can see just like right here at TS 7:03 and that will help group the mobs up better for better living bomb hits
i HAVE to ask : HOW THE HELL did u get back ur mana when u doing the fight ? at the beginning u cast some living bomb and ur mana are at 60% and one sec later u get back to 85% ?!? can u explain me how u do that plz :)
Master of elements on fire skill tree i think, when he crits he gets 30% mana refound of base skill
Both master of elements and clearcasting, but he also used a mana potion and leveled up. But you can use mana gem and you should be fine.
TBH you almost have to use mana pots and gems I wasnt getting anywhere near as much mana back as needed to kill everything.
@@lilbeartv9039 Yeah this exactly, I did about 4-5 runs and every time had to pop a gem at the very least.
@@angryscotsmaaan mages farming mele only mobs are the problem, almost every other class that can solo dungeon farm have a form of mana regen. So realistically speaking farms like ZF and ZG will be harder for mages now, whereas farms like RFC, SM, Mara will be better, although idk if any class will be able to do Mara if the mobs have the speed boost

its stlil working for me. whenever im doing the flamestrikes pull i counter spell the boss, he will run for another 4-5 secs then reset

When i tried this run the Mobs healed themselves to 100% after a while..so i guess if ur not fast enough u cant Do it

3-4 gold/run depending on the items dropped, not counting the mobs dying in a spot you cannot loot them (which is extremely frustrating)
Kinda out of place of them to leave the anti boosting mechs in.
Since were forced to do the kill phase in a quicker and more efficiently... it's like an anti-anti boosting mechanic now.
The tendency to copy and paste patches bit them. Ha.
Why did they totally change the way the mobs work they run fast and don't slow obviously this video is lit and you can do it this way but still I am confused why the need to nerf with all the stuff in sod for xp it's kinda pointless nerf

Depends selling carries is what 10g per run per shmuck thats 200g an hour right there Plus the loot and raw gold about 12-18g each so roughly 300 an hour boosting. 70-100 solo
Then again i think i seen somewhere mage mafia wants to charge 15 or 20g each here. So

@DimVein donno cant remember being boosted here, only boosting back in classic with a lvl 60. You should make more since the mobs will still be half green to a lvl 50 mage. And the 50% buff is turning into 75% this tuesday. So ur probably looking at about 340k solo maybe 165 getting boosted. With maybe 130 ish if ur being boosted ina full group. Idk back in the day it was only like 90k. For the boosties. But that was done by a lvl 60 so exp gets gimped a bit in classic.
Idk its been 4 or so years now. Gyess youll just have to either run it or get carried once. Just use Nova instance tracker to keep up on exact xps and mob kills.
43+, not 40. Can get hardstuck first safespot with aggro on Bloodrinker and/or Witch Doctor thats lvl 45 and pats.
Leveled my second mage here from 40. Try laying down to LoS the bloodrinker. 100000% doable at 40
they nerfed this! for anyone wondering. you get sub 200xp per zombie instead of 682
dont bother trying to use the reset spot if your any other race then gnome, because the shadowcasters will just wall bang you no matter how hard you try to line of sight.

I came to see this for SOD; cuz I did it in classic + in classic + where I did as a paladin.
Now I wanted to do it as a mage in sod :P

will be wayyy harder but possible i guess being able to instant cast the dot aoe explosion is what makes this cake
@@earlyplays8810this is so easy as a hunter. Leveled the whole way from 43-50 on 2 hunters doing it. Trap launcher to put explosive trap in their path and explosive shot on CD. Not quite as fast as the mage but still very very easy.
