Just got one of these as a spare frame and your the first video to come up when I searched for a built video! Right on man things are coming full circle hahah! 😂🤙
I heard this was coming out and that the arms were 6mm I waited a bit longer to start my build, just so I could use it :D, nice frame with great value, looks indestructible. I stopped flying ages ago after my chinesium built kwad exploded, getting back in its great to see how open source projects have improved the hobby (elrs, tbs source one, certain betaflight forks) and are as options a no brainer in most cases
Thanks for the video! What is the width between the camera mounting plates so I know which camera to get? 19mm or 22mm? Also what is the max height of the FC? The distance between top and bottom plate would be great 😁
The camera is plate distance is 19mm . Im not sure about the distance between the top and bottom plates i think its about 25mm . I'll check when I get home
@@ts13fpv Thanks for the camera measurement and that would be awesome if you could get the other measurement. I bought a 19mm camera and the new SpeedyBee F4 stack and the Apex frame I bought needs a 22mm camera and the stack is too tall for the 20mm spacing between top and bottom plates. I could play around with finding different gummies or o-rings but I’d rather just have a frame that works.
Okay so i need a 20x20 stack for this not a 30x30? Caddx polar micro starlight vista will work right? Do you suggest the v3 or the v4 or the v5?? Im going for a 7inch build
You can still use a 30x30 stack in this as it fits both in the front. It's only 20x20 in the rear I think . I'm not sure that the v5 has a 7 inch arm kit 🤔 I think only the v3 does
@@ts13fpv thanks for the response, i have the tbs source one HD at the moment, and was just wondering if maybe that space in the back would possibly fit it in the new v5. I saw the 20x20 holes but it also looked like there was a little space. On the source one HD it's a pretty tight fit for the air unit. :/ I have three air units so I gotta deal with it.
Its very small in the back this frame. Even the 20x20 holes are bulging out from the sides a bit . A air unit would probably overhang quite a lot unfortunately
I'll be doing a first flight video soon so keep a eye out and subscribe 👍

It feels like a solid frame and great value like you said . Gonna be giving it a hammering for a few weeks then I'll do a follow up video .
Love this frame!
It's pretty good for the price . I had a bad crash and broke the top and bottom plate a while ago . But the arms are solid 💪
@@ts13fpv same here, just. yesterday I broke top and bottom front plate in one crash lol - video coming soon
I look forward to it 👍
Wheres a good place to get some tpu parts for the build.
Got mine from ebay 👍
Brain3d had the best parts for almost everything. Clean prints, full accessory kits w/ all camera options

The height of the stand offs in the rear are 22mm . Plenty to get in almost any stack 👌

Will this fit a full size DJI Air Unit?
It's only 20x20 mounting in the back . You an fit a vista in there but not a air unit .
