@ yes. I’ve flown cinematic drones and this controller feels solid. Not toy grade

It's a great little thing . Powers the gps and acts as a Buzzer if you battery disconnects in a craah

7 inch quads are great for cinematic fast cruising stuff . Super efficient and long flight times (for fpv anyway 🤣)

Here is the video of the guy setting up Adupilot instead of betaflight and it makes a FPV drone into DJI like drone with similar functions. It's very detailed and well done like a tutorial. I hope this helps with what you are trying to achieve. I think this is a must if you get into long range flight or you wish you look at something outside of your RC range you can send the quad ahead of you to check something out and return. I've ordered a full quad copter auxiliary sensor kit of AliExpress for only $14AUD👍 I'm interested in possibly making a "security drone" for the front door at home like a mobile security camera or something? 😆 I just l like the idea of not being tied to DJI so I am not arbitrarily geolocked out of some area and automatically dobbed on to authorities 🙄 Keep us posted👍

Betaflight has some advantages over ardupilot for quadcopters. Especially if you like to fly your quad yourself and have it fly amazingly well with a user-friendly interface. Don't get me wrong, Ardupilot is great, and I run it on a couple of VTOLs, but for my normal quadcopters, I'll take Betaflight all day.

Also, you can toss launch your quad with betaflight, too. Bardwell did a video about it a few months ago.

@ mines sorted now. I’ll find the vid I followed. Misses its mark but within 5 yds. Realised I was powering it, acquires Sats, then I moved it to a position further away from me. Hence it missed that point. So i move it now then power it

Hi , yeah that doesn't sound right . If they are still doing it after calibration then it sounds like they could be faulty . Do they do it in real flight aswell or just in the sim ?

@ts13fpv I actually noticed it when bound it to my vx3.5 and I thought it might have been my FC was messing up after a crash. Then I took it into Uncrashed. They are like micro twitches. I think you may be right probably faulty gimbals it's the pitch/roll stick. I think I'm going to throw some ag-01 minis in it. I appreciate the help, brotha. Keep sending.

@@ts13fpv 🖤🖤 they are the same gimbals as the zorro max right? I might just pull them out of my zorro and stick them to to test the radio. Absolutely great gimbals.

@dadpoolfpv no mate . The pocket has ag01 'nano' gimbals . Even smaller than the zorro

As I explained in the video, the dvr stopped recording as the quad seemed to dissarm . I didn't have an action camera on as I was testing . Next time, I'll try to set up a cam

@@ts13fpv Good man! I do enjoy a good fpv crash montage. I've crashed into cliffs, into a lake, into so many trees, faceplanted 100km/hr into the ground. Shit was wild!

The dvr stopped recording almost like it had disarmed. I still had video in the goggles and could see it coming down . Got a few things I want to alter and test . I've got another spot that's a lot more open where I can try next time .

Got a few things to try . Hopefully figure it out . Had a couple of random Failsafes on my 5 inch in the past tured out I had a broken elrs antenna

@ that’s interesting! Mine has been fine since, but hadn’t thought on that. Interestingly my VTX doesn’t seem to be doing well, so think that might be the antenna (it was wedged at a 180°)

It stopped recording unfortunately 😔 ive got my goggles set to start recording on arm and stop on dissarm. I still had video in the goggles and could see it coming down . I never had an action cam on either 😔 wish I'd had my vlog cam on a tripod

It was definitely a strange one 🤔 almost like it disarmed. I had the throttle value set to what I thought was correct. Still tinkering . I'll fix it . A least I got a video out of it 🤣

I've never tried rth and land on betaflight, but I do know it works amazing on Inav. On a seven inch drone that needs rth, I would use Inav every time.

Ive always used rth as a back up incase of failsafe and to be fair it's work fine . Just seems to have gone a bit haywire on the landing side of things . May have to have a look at inav as I've never used it

When I was running i think 4.1.1 bf rth worked good for me ,hit the switch then take back controll, but 4.4/4.5 it gives you more options. so did all of them like hover point /height ect,,,I arm the quad but just let it'sit there with the motors spinning and my gps will start adding meters on home then 6m 14m 22mm 40m and my quad hasn't even moved lol bye the time I took off gps was saying 180m away lol what's going on there then lol

@quadfoxfpv420 that's a strange one dude . I've always had it set to rth but never to land , seems to have gone insane when I did it 🤣 sounds like you had some interference maybe
