My family just did a back to back on the Icon and the Carnival Celebration. This was our first Carnival cruise. We all actually liked the Celebration just a bit better and all agreed it felt much less crowded than the Icon. Our balcony room was a bit warmer than we hoped for on the Icon but otherwise what a beautiful ship it was. Our cruise was one of the first to sail at capacity from what we were told. Other than the long lines and the expensive costs we loved the Icon but probably would not choose to do such a crowded ship again. Thanks for your great videos.
Beautiful nice video. Maybe in another 3-4 years I can do this. I picked my first cruise to go on is Symphony is July 5, 2024 we’ll see how I do on this first. Can’t wait
You’ll love the Symphony! Did you watch our vlog series from when we sailed on her last April? Search Symphony of the Seas - Paul & Ashley and it’ll come up! Our recommendation for the Icon would be to book it as far out as possible. It’s always cheapest to book it 18-24 months out if possible.
We just booked our first cruise on Symphony for May 2025. We live in Massachusetts so figured it would be easier to be able to drive to the port. But WOW ICON looks amazing! Maybe if all goes well we will do that next!
