  • Left Middle Percy travelling South to Island Head Creek.
We hit our record sailing speed of 8.1 knots!
Leaving Island Head Creek was pretty hectic conditions with shallow water and big waves! I would definitely recommend leaving on high tide and make sure its not wind against tide.
And we don't film too much but we have a quick stop over at Port Clinton and the next day we arrive at North Keppel.
We anchor out the front of Yeppoon and take the tender to the beach to get a hair cut and do some food provisioning. I would only anchor out the front of Yeppoon if the conditions are perfect but even then its pretty rolly to land the tender with it being so shallow.
Then we are off to Great Keppel Island.
Dan has a reaction to midges and we see the most impressive storm fronts we have ever seen.
    Thanks for watching
