Medical testing on animals is still needed. I worked in a pharmaceutical company and no medicine could be produced without it. Also please keep in mind that medicine FOR animals also get tested on animals. Most companies nowadays (at least the ones I know) are very respectful and caring for the test animals. We had many employees designated to care for the animals and play with them etc. It's not all as grim as it looks. And it's for science to improve the lives of humans AND animals.

Ive been in one of these… Some of the animals were still inside and almost to the brink of death. My group and i got them out as quick as we could and took them home. We lost a few, but most of them healed up and are now in either rescues or have a good home.

They know animal testing must be done for medicines to be created and legalized to use on humans. They just believe it should be done in a way that treats the animals well and with the least amount of pain. The only moron here is you.
Also, not all animal testing should be legalized or even necessary. Cosmetic animal testing, for example, is so unnecessary. I don’t want an animal tested on for makeup. Another point you brought up was that animals will be killed by predators anyways. This is invalid in this argument since, in nature, animals have a chance to survive in the food chain. With animal testing, there is no natural selection. I do agree with ethical animal testing, but next time you should make valid points so that other people listen to your opinion. Instead, you just gave a half-assed response.

Ive been in one of these… Some of the animals were still inside and almost to the brink of death. My group and i got them out as quick as we could and took them home. We lost a few, but most of them healed up and are now in either rescues or have a good home.
