PLease disregard my last comment, I totally had a stroke and thought this was my Bear River video. Cherokee Bar, great spot. Be VERY careful not to get stuck, once you get down to the bottom there is a huge, huge open area but it is all loose sand. The road in SUCKS!!! but it's passable.
Im soo not sorry that you have been digging my tailing piles for flood gold... Ill give you a hint that specific area myself and 5 others cleared for 20+ years then they shut us down when they class E'd the river for dredging. Still love that you and your family came out to enjoy the outdoors of the mother load in seek of golden treasures. Best of luck but look into gas canyon or divers flat, on the placer county side. I still have fair luck there even after all these years. Best of luck from another seeker of gold.
