Old 8mm cine film from the early 1970's of a trip to Amsterdam and Rotterdam. A nostalgic 8mm cine film from the early 1970s captures a delightful journey to Amsterdam and Rotterdam. The adventure begins with scenes of the ferry being loaded at Dover, embarking on its voyage across the channel to the Netherlands. As we step ashore, the camera explores the vibrant streets around Dam Square in Amsterdam. Next, we visit what appears to be the charming Madurodam miniature park in The Hague, where tiny replicas of Dutch landmarks come to life. The film then treats us to picturesque views of Amsterdam’s iconic canals, followed by sweeping panoramas of Rotterdam, glimpsed from the Maastunnel Park area.
