Shooting Rollei Superpan 200 (35mm) on the Italian seaside of Marche (Sirolo).
My camera is a Canon AT-1 with a 50mm 1.4.
The film was shot at 50 and then developed as 200 in Rodinal (1:25).

Love these photos! My favorite have to be the umbrellas from above and the shot of the dog in the chair!
Thank you very much! Really appreciated. My favourite one is the fisherman on the rocks, maybe a tad clique hahah
Wow. some crazy high contrast there.
Thanks! A mixture of under/over exposures and some light editing in Lightroom did the trick!
La Superpan 200 è su base PET. Asciuga prima rispetto alle classiche basi triacetate e permette lo sviluppo come DIA. Però si, è vero che è più difficile da caricare. Può essere usata anche come infrarossa con filtro a 720 nm
I really like the film, also thank you so much for introducing me to Renato Repetto, I did not know about him before. Checked his portfolio and damn his work is amazing!
Glad to read this! I truly believe in photography as a communal activity, so I'm more than happy to share great artists like him. Thank you for your kind words, cheers

I see you're a man of culture
Good job on this review my man. Reminds me almost of how my darkroom paper looks when I shoot it in my camera. Sky easily blown out with much contrast. It's better than ferrania though in my opinion, I shot that a while back and was going to review it on my channel but I only have about 4 strong keepers.
Thanks man, quite appreciated! I heard various thoughts about Ferrania's P30, although I'm still willing to try it as it is the same kind of film used by Fellini for "8 1/2" (utter masterpiece). Nevertheless, the Superpan is definitely perfect for this high-contrast style!
Really nice video as always!
Hans Wehrli Thank you Hans! Really appreciated.
I think a video on Ansel Adams Zone system would be really good. I thought that the zone system relies on the pushing and pulling of the film to achieve the level of contrast you want? Aren't your decisions about exposure and contrast not totally negated by the fact that you accidentally shot it at ISO 50?
Anyways, great photos as always and I'm glad you are still making these videos
Thank you for the feedback Ben! Appreciated as always. From what I read about the Z.S., you can use it to visualise the photo and decide on what zone you want your subject. I saved my bracketing by developing at 200 asa. B/W films usually stand around +-2 stops change in development. By doing so, I definitely lost some contrast (which is something that some people do on purpose), but I didn't mind this loss since it was quite slight. I'll definitely add a vid dedicated to the System in my list, unfortunately I had some busy weeks during August, should be back on track from the 10th. Thank you again, cheers mate!
@@gianmarcomaioli yeah thats the conclusion I came to as well. You basically overexposed which generally reduces the contrast. Would be interesting to shoot the film at box speed to see how the contrast increases even more
@@somedudecalledben I'll definitely shoot it again, but I'm not a fan of its pet (polyester) base. Very easy to fold and ruin some frames. Yet, it surely deserves a second chance.
@@gianmarcomaioli one thing that I have found when loading reels is that they must be totally dry otherwise the film tends to stick to the edges, give that a go on your next roll
@@somedudecalledben Might have been some humidity issue, I'll pay more attention next time, thanks mate!
