Also, Singapore's per capita, whether norminal or by PPP, is between 5.5~6.5x higher than China.

It is commonly referred to as "reverse role play," where individuals make others dislike something by excessively praising it in a way that is clearly insincere. In a sense, it is a result of China's domestic speech control.
For example, this comment that belittles Singapore while praising China aims to stoke animosity among Singaporeans towards Chinese people, thereby serving the purpose of insulting China.
