- Conwy Falls, located near Betws-y-Coed in Wales, is a picturesque waterfall where the River Conwy drops 50 feet into a deep pool. This natural feature is par (Visit Conwy) (Wikipedia).
Visitors can access the falls by paying a small fee at the entrance near the Conwy Falls Café. The café, designed by Clough Williams-Ellis in the 1930s, offers food and refreshments and is a notable attraction in its own right (Visit Conwy) (Conwy Falls). The forest park features several walking trails through dense forest, offering viewpoints and access to the Fairy Glen, another scenic spot nearby (Visit Conwy) (The Whole World Or Nothing).
The park is home to various wildlife, including numerous bird species and polecats. It also features a modern salmon ladder, built to help migrating fish navigate the falls (Wikipedia).
Parking at Conwy Falls is free, and the site is accessible via the A5 road, with well-marked signs leading to the café and falls.
Good toilets too. The food at the cafe smelt great but we didn’t eat.
Gorgeous scenery man, looks like a fairy tale 👌
Had such a great time, a whole weekend exploring.
Cracking scenery .
Not bad, I’ve seen better but it was £2 well spent and a cracking place to avoid the crowds when in Snowdonia.
@@TheOptimisticAdventurer We have some crackers up here in Scotland . You were right about the point you made about the access for people as I have lost my lower leg and haven't been able to use a prosthetic leg I know how it feels that's why I'm getting back into the kayaking 😂 can still paddle and hop in and out the water
