- Killarney, Ontario is the Gateway to the North Channel and is one of my favorite stops so far on the Great Loop. Our stay at the marina at the Killarney Mountain Lodge (an AGLCA sponsor) was wonderful with good restaurants and resort-style amenities. Highlights included a hike on the Lighthouse Trail and a trip on a smaller, faster boat than ours to visit the Pool at Baie Fine where many Loopers take their own boats and anchor. Catch the details in the video!
The Great Loop is a boating adventure of a lifetime, taking "Loopers" on a 6,000 mile trip aboard their own boats around the eastern part of the U.S. Learn more at www.greatloop.org.

"World's Largest Paddle" locks it for me.
I am surprised you didn’t mention Herbert’s fisheries in Killarney. They have great fish and chips. The fish is caught fresh daily and cleaned right there. I worked on Badgeley island for 3 years and ate there once a week. Killarney is a nice little town.
Thanks for adding that. We didn't make it to Herbert's.
@@GreatLoop Thomas Ellwood is correct. Our family cabin is in McGregor Bay, just north of Baie Fine and we often travel by boat just for the fish and chips. Mark it for your next Loop.
