Hello I love this video. I have a ITW Vortec cold air gun 610 I bought this for cheap. My configuration looks almost like yours but there was no O ring on the aluminum cap. There was a THIN O ring under the plastic sleeve and a THICK one on top , just under the aluminum cap. Does this configuration sound correct to you? Hi Vincent, if the compressed air supplied to a Cold Air Gun is dirty or contains moisture it can affect the performance of the Cold Air Gun. In these cases, the generator can be replaced instead of purchasing a new Cold Air Gun.
The Cold Air Gun can run on any inert gas but it is mostly used with compressed air. Here is an example with Argon - www.vortec.com/discover-how-cold-air-guns-use-argon-gas-in-aerospace-application
