I absolutely love this truck. Tesla managed to get it to production looking almost exactly as they had it years back. What concept car makes it to pros looking like this? So unreal and cool to see practical engineering choices (practical is not easy) like steel on outside for a truck. I expect these to be like Tesla X and S where I just see them everywhere. At any given point there’s usually one on the road with me if there’s enough traffic. Without Tesla I don’t think manufacturers would have innovated as much as they have.

Same exact thing here. You want iPhone you PAY, you want Tesla you PAY. I love the enthusiasm of the initial handover of the cybertruck, but as with all tech, especially in this day and age, this vehicles looks and technology are going to be very outdated very quickly. I think the depreciation on this vehicle is likely to go down faster than the Titanic hitting the iceberg.

Its a good start but its the founder series, 1000 first, so its comparable to the initial 12 trucks form delivery event. If you look at sandy munroe tour of the factory, the production line is running at something like 10% capacity, so they have a lot of time to check everything. Elon musk asked 10 micron tolerance so if someone takes delivery of a founder edition with big panel gaps and shares it on social media, someone is probably getting fired at tesla. Once they finish founder edition batch and start cranking up the speed, is when quality control is going to become critical. By then there will be so much content on the cybertruck that lower quality wont matter as much for the image

First I didn't like the design of the Cybertruck. But after I've seen some video's, especially about the 'breed' of it, I started to love it!! It's a pity I live in Europe (The Netherlands) where the streets and parking spots are too narrow for this beast...😞
