    Your data through the chrono and calculating the kinetic energy is awesome

      Ian C thank you! We’ll try to do more this year on the 2019 release

    In the future would it be possible to test the speeds with a heavier arrow? My state as a min. 6gr per pound of draw weight and the heaviest arrow that you tested barely squeaked by. My heavier weight arrow suggestions would be in the 475-500 gr range.

    I won one of these bad bows at a sportsmans banquet in March. It was my first new bow since 2007, and damn it is an eye opener! Fast, smooth, and accurate.Feels like I was throwing the arrow with my old bow.

    What will the hyperforce give me that the powermax cant if I pick this bow?

      All around performance. From anchor to Tune, stability, & longevity for sure!
      Although the Powermax is a great bow for the price. I would not consider them in the same category at all as far as performance

    According to your chrono results that bow is running about 12fps off calculated IBO. Have you found this to be the case with most of the Hyperforce you have tested?

      Outdoor Analytics Hoyt typically runs true or faster than the IBO rating in most cases. This bow was taken out of the box and shot as is. Put a rest on and shot. We did some tinkering on it and got it to speed but wanted to give a true “straight out of the box” test as possible. Most stock bows we get come in pretty true to rating but didn’t think it was an honest enough evaluation if tinkered on it and didn’t add that into the video.
      But to answer your question, the Hyperforces that we have sold have made speed with the right tune! Thanks for the comment.

      Thank you for the response. I found for years that Hoyts always met and mostly exceeded IBO speeds (or their ATA speeds) but have felt that since they went with the DFX cam that changed and they were lucky to get the listed speeds. With the new bows and cam I think Hoyt iis hoping that most people remember that they used to almost always exceed their listed speed and have fallen a little flat. It would be interesting if you could do a before/after video on what you did to tune the bow and the before/after speeds as I have played with 6 of them now and have yet to reach their listed speeds (or equivalent with a heavier arrow).

      Outdoor Analytics Yessir, for sure. If I get some time, I’ll try to make one. We started this just to show some of our locals about the bows we carry but I think it could be a really useful tool across the board. Maybe if I can get some free time this year I’ll try to show some tuning tips and tricks. But I agree with the dfx. Last year was a little tricky on the tuning! My video/editing skills not so great but enjoy doing these! It’s quite fun!

    What draw length were you shooting?

    Hyperforce vs triax.....haven't shot bows in years looking to get back into it this season what are your thoughts?

    • @harvestarchery7816
      @harvestarchery7816  6 лет назад +1

      hunterdka good choices! Although we do not sell Mathews the Triax is a smooth bow. It’s shorter axle to axle so I would go shoot both and get a good feel of what you’re into. The 2018 lineup from most manufacturers is impeccable this year! I don’t think you could go wrong with Bowtech, Elite, Hoyt or Mathews this year. Go to your local dealer and get the one that feels right and suites your needs! Hope this helps

      Elevated Obsession oh yeah! We’ve sold quite a few. We are working on one now for the Ritual. Hopefully get it published in the next week or so. Between ASA and Indoor, we’ve been slammed. Keep looking and hopefully it’ll drop soon! Thanks for watching and commenting!

      hunterdka the triax has much less vibration than the Hoyt’s also it is dead in your hand i used to shoot Hoyt but switched to the triax as soon as it came out and will never go back to Hoyt
