The time has come to finally unlock those summer vibes!
Long term Stil vor Talent constant ‚Deckert‘ teams up with his former ‚Deorbiting‘ bandmate Bernhard aka ‚CØME‘ to deliver two heavily groove oriented anthems for the sunny side of 2024.
Formerly known for vibrant emotional storytelling, the two producers enter a completely new character arc by leaning deeply into a faster and heavier form of dancefloor-magnetism with influences ranging from classic UK-bass to contemporary house interpretations.
A hefty breakbeat intro leads into the bassy voyage that is ‚uknow_idontplayright‘, accompanied by tuned down voice samples emerging out of the background void. High pitched house strings deliver a contrasting melody pattern while layers of hooky synthesizers stacked upon each other form the repetitive lead-flow increasing throughout the whole bodyshaking track narration. A brief moment of calm is provided by a stripped down to the core oasis of a break which is instantly smashed to pieces by an impactful halftime drop that hits with the mass of a black hole.
The title track ‚no.front’ pushes all boundaries even further by crossing over dub elements with boom bap style hiphop-vocals ultimately resulting in a genre-fluid menáge à infiti. Still no other actor than the bassline at it’s purest is the captain of this ship. A simple but catchy motif accompanies the composition from start to finish with a smooth escort of percussive components joining over the journey.
Both pieces are carefully crafted for peaktime experiences either at day or night time and a sure shot for hands-in-the-air moments on USBs from DJs of all compartments.
