Watched many ball games at the stadium when I was a Tyke. Use to see the smoke stack from the lake freighters going across the center field wall to right field. Huh.....things I remember.
Neil, these current photos of buildings makes me cringe when I see the original buildings so well built architecturally and seeing what is called "architecture" these days. I don't recognise my home town any longer with no need to travel back there!
@@NeilB.Arnold I wouldn't know where to start if I travelled back there. I worked at the old Loblaws head office, the construction office was by the warehouse next to the Bathurst St. bridge. I also worked out of the Tip Top building many years later until Dylex died.
We have gone from "Toronto the Good" to "Toronto the Bland". My Dad cam to the city around 1912 and worked the bulk of his life downtown till he was 83 and now wouldn't know where he is anymore. Nor i for that matter.
Could you go back to the old format of using just stills ? Or mixing it up ? All this back and forth and up and down is making me seasick Maybe use the motion to film locations that have changed drastically. Sorry, I know you're trying to please everyone.
