in the end it was a duo effort between carey and maxwell. without them australia would not be able to have won that game and just because carey had a slower strike rate and got a live in the innings dosent mean he didnt play well but it does take skill to grasp the extra opportunity and score the runs he did and im sure they would have had a plan in the middle on how they would play and it worked. having said that i think the mvp is Mitchell Starc with that 2 from 2 to start the game and 11 from 3 balls to win the match for the aussies
