Even if Netherland's allow Dual citizenship, an Indian citizen can't have dual citizenship. The reason is India do not allow Dual citizenship. For example: New Zealand, Australia allow Dual Citizenship, however India don't allow dual citizenship, in this case if a person want to become New Zealand citizen, then that person have to give-up Indian Citizenship, in other words if the person want to be an Indian Citizenship then that person can't be New Zealand Citizen.
When you say 5 years of continuous stay, does it mean that you should not travel back to your country in between? Or we can travel back and forth but should have 5 years of job history there?
We can travel to visit other countries. The thing is you will get a residence permit (work or study visa) once you start studying or working in Netherlands... That should have been valid continuously... For example, while on such visa you can stay outside Netherlands for a max of only 180days... If you stay outside NL more than that then you residence permit becomes invalid... also if you miss out to renew your residence permit for whatever reason and there is a gap in between then that also is considered like starting from first... Hope it's clear...

I don’t have my birth certificate and it is not register in the municipality also.. whether affidavit for birth certificate is enough to get register? Or I can’t travel without birth certificate? Hi... In such cases where you don't have a birth certificate municipality will ask for the affidavit... But this is an admin process and you have to check with the local municipality...

Hi Madhesh, There is no we such European PR.. PR is applicable for your country of residence. With each type of PR, you might have an option to work in another EU country but it depends upon your rules in destination country.. EU blue card is different than PR how you know about it .

Hi Santha Kumar, Since you have already lived continuously in NL for 5 yrs and if you have cleared the Inburgering examen, then you can apply for Citizenship and even if one of the parent of the kid is a citizen, the citizenship for kid can also be applied. But, this is a special case that your kid is not registered in any Gementee and no BSN so this is a special situation and not indicated clearly in websites. May be you have to call the IND to chk for your specific situation.

Hello Mam. Good content and useful information. I am a US citizen, dont have any plans to work or need a job for sustenance. My goal is to get a one year or a little less period of permanent stay. The Schengen visa allows only 90 day stay and thats not enough. The goal for my stay being to stay there and travel the neighboring countries for pleasure and leisure travel. . I dont have any financial limitations and can put up a proof based on minimum salary requirement for 24 months as a guarantee. What avenues are out there for such PR option. Thanks in advance. Also what city would be a good option to consider for my stay?

Ypo know it is a hassle to move. I am exploring a NLV Visa (Non Lucrative visa) for spain that will get you a 1 year visa if i can produce proof of funds for 1 year of sustenance which is not an issue. I was wondering if Belgium had one such visa program. By the way what part of Netherlands is a good base to be in for say a month to cover most of the areas of interest from there in day trips or may be 2/3 day long trips. Carrying your luggage everywhere is a hassle and working from a base is more easier. Thanks!
