I like to think that while Breeze's style consists of fierce, powerful and short movements, Hozin's style consists more of a creative, smooth transition by really knowing the rhythm of the songs (smooth when it has to be smooth, powerful when it has to be powerful). I personally LOVE Hozin's style of popping, because it seems that he just has so much control over his dancing.
Breeze has like a quick funky style. Sometimes it works and sometimes not, but yeah i see what u meant. I like him tho cuz he never repeats moves and he moves a lot
and gotta keep in mind r16 korea is now an international event held at a big arena, with a lot more diverse crowd and a bigger crowd so you should definitely expect a lot of impressed crowds over minor "crowd pleasers" if you will. so really whether it's hozin or breeze or even a total noob who just walks on the stage can impress that crowd with not much as long as they hit on the beat. so crowd shouldn't determine who did better for the most part.
Breeze sure is fucking dope with strong popd and good musicality but Hozin looked more relax when he danced, his way to kill the beat is sooo unique and better than Breeze and better style :). Pros to both great dancers
This was a good battle. In the first round, Hozin didn't really bring anything to the table, just repeated what breeze did, and at a lower caliber. Second round, Breeze had a stronger run than Hozin. In my opinion, Breeze won.
Breeze was slightly better for the second song, but Hozin totally *owned* the first song, down to his head bops at the end of it. Overall I'd personally give the edge to Hozin in this battle. Both of them are phenomenal dancers, though!
So why do american poppers who make it always get eliminated in the qtr finals?? happened to frantick....i personally think there is a bias at this competition although some of the poppers who do enter are very dope....but all in all....breeze had this battle on lock....not taking away from hozin because he gets off but I have seen him do better....js
Hozin is too technical here Breeze won because he won the crowd and entertained! the popping scene is changing musicality trumps technique IMO Good job to both
LOL. This gets upvoted. He wrote up the most vague little statements and disrespects a dancer of Hozin's caliber. You are not good and you are most definitely not the authority of what Hozin brought to the table and a judge on what is "lower caliber." What jaygee said directly applies to you, get off your high horse and delete your cute little reviews, and admire and emulate what these guys do. But continue on little keyboard poppers, judge someone who practices popping for his life and career.
breeze can hit i'll give you that, but that's the most basic form of popping just glorified. these days it should take more than just being able to hit hard like a metronome and vibrate/hit multiple times for a beat killer part(anybody can do that really). when you start incorporating more isolations and footwork into those beatkilling musicality parts like hozin, kite, dino(just random examples), that's when you start to see "creativity" which i feel like breeze lacked a little compared tohozin
good battle. i enjoyed it. props to both. who won anyway???
dope battle...honestly, I'd wanna see another rnd
thank u
I have seen the future of popping.
His name is Breeze lee.
both are great!!!! omg
he was on beat, breez lee just dances like that always.
Breeze hits so hard, he's definitely amongst the best.
That battle was wicked. Breeze Lee is going to get hella recognition.
this is like final
that was amazing :)
I was here to check Hozin out,...but owh my MOTHERFUCKIN GOD, Breeze Lee is fckn awesome!
OMG...Breeze Lee is phenomenal!!!! A definite first place winner!

Oh my god... Tie.

1st track : Dj Mulder - Poppin Shaker
2nd track : Dazz Band - Joystick
haha breeze lee has been there for a while. The guy is a beast. His style is exciting
First song poppin shaker by dj mulder
I usually don't comment because i think you miss alot by watching a video instead of being there...but breeze lee went off
i like style Breeze Lee

Amen. Preach it.
If they didn't battle now, they definitely would have faced off in the finals.

breeze is good but everything he did seemed rushed. hozin just expressed the music and nailed it with no rush.
It really doesn't matter but I can't help thinking Breeze as a distracting eyesore!
Nice battle with great music anw :)

Great battle felt like another round was needed though, but Breeze still took this one..
his second round is so crazy
I think Hozin took the 1st round with his musicality, but Breeze responded and Won the 2nd round. Should have been a tie .
-TooTall
[Heavy Hittaz]
Name of second song please ???
I give it to Breeze.
I like Lee's aggressive style but Hozin kept comin up with different stuff.
look like a final !
big hozin fan BUT MATE... BREEZE LEE is the equivalent of bruce lee of asia =)~ he should've won... on fire for sure...
1st song??
Actually I talked to Breeze, he said it was tie. No definitive winner.
Wht do ya mean?..he lost...
Hozin took it no doubt...Breeze was good but def not up to par with Hozin
Oh ok I was confused for a sec.... U're definately right about Breeze though... WAY better battle energy than Hozin..
hozin won this one. at least if you ask the judges.
hozin first song!!! 2:05
breeze had that fo sho
LOL i think he dont got robbed lol both are clean and sick beat limitless, if you think you he got robbed then you got robbed first lol
hozin more in the music.. winner!! breez was good but to rushed ..
LiQuanXi But judges are Suga Pop, Iron Mike and Poppin J. I don't think there is any bias decision
Hozin is too technical here
Breeze won because he won the crowd and entertained!
the popping scene is changing
musicality trumps technique IMO
Good job to both
hozin won this. 100 percent
on beat but rushed. i never said off.
hozinnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn!!!

Damn son Breeze got robbed
late 2012 hozin's style is kinda wack he puts his hands on his wastes too damn much and does too much gliding....
Breeze got smoked...J/S
you mean waist
i hate this view... terrible angle
lol, soul botonic , devious , lmfao
I like style Breeze Lee ...
