Thanks for this video and i know you put a lot a work, i been looking to buy a trimmer for Christmas and finally i make up my mind and im gonna go for the saber, thanks im not a barber i just need it for the house i cut my own hair, thanks ones again.
Video dropped just in time, helped me decide between the Lopro FXone but with the BlueFX blade or the BlackFX fxone. I’m not a barber, just someone looking to upgrade what I currently use, so I think I’m gonna roll with the lopro.
@ What blades do you find are the best on Babyliss trimmers? I’m a fan of the FXone system because I travel a lot, I like the switchable batteries, so I’m going babyliss forsure.
5:19 I feel with the high vez. I’m always hitting their top edge with the bottom of the blade. I feel it’s hard for me to hold properly and I am always grabbing it from the bottom of the machine and it’s angled weird. However, I had one of the defective ones that would snag and pull. I sent it back because it wouldn’t fix itself as suggested in one of your other videos. The new one they sent me back makes me love the machine no snagging no pulling I don’t know what they did, but it works now. My fx blue one from Babyliss still pulls despite receiving a warranty.
The saber is the best trimmer ever made as of today. I own a barber 💈 shop cut at least 20 heads a day walk in only shop. I’ve bought and used almost every trimmer made. Every single one of my barbers including myself use the saber. This is the only tool style craft got right.
@@RUclipsBarberAcademy hey Eddie how does your body feel? What shoes 👟 do you wear. My upper neck and shoulder blade area has been on fire 🔥 since almost day one ☝🏻 cutting hair. I workout 🏋️♀️ and even did a men’s physique competition so it’s not a matter of my body or weight issue. Do you have barber pain like myself?? Right now it’s just my neck and shoulder blades. But all our barbers struggle with massive pain some more than others. Am I the only one ?
Are the blades the same on the black and gold saber's? I purchased the black saber and just haven't been anywhere near as impressed as I was with the Babyliss Gold FX+ original blade.
I understand that these vids take a bunch of time an effort to do with the quality you put in and this is a very quality video. Thanks for stating who you are sponsored by. However, I don't believe you were unbiased as you rehashed SC marketing ALOT compared to the others at the end and also started the vid with SC. Very typical marketing scheme. You were missing several other popular trimmers. This might have been due to time constraints or the fact that FWBS doesn't carry them/provided you with them. However, you didn't mention why which is a bias you didn't mention. Your take on the capability testing of the ones you reviewed was excellent but would have liked the bulk removal all on the same head when you tested the instinct. Your value rating feels inconsistent with me. You said "stars" but used dots in the vid. This video is missing RUclips Chapters that breaks out each section/trimmer. With so many reviewed, it is a necessity.
I know you are entitled to much better content than this, and I would suggest that you go watch it. Thank you for pointing out the fact that I forgot the chapters. They will be there soon.
I don’t think people realize how much work you put into these videos. Hat off to you sir.
Great video! I agree with the Saber but I like the Gamma version even better. Cyborg trimmer is my #1.
I have had the Saber since it's inception, and it's well worth every penny. It's just great all rounder.
We should add "Ergonomics/Comfort/Weight" as another category. Either way, love the content. Thanks for putting these videos out 🙏🏼
Great suggestion!
I always grab one of the most underrated trimmers of 2024….
Wahl Hi Viz
Just an overall great trimmer that gets the job done

Glad I could help

That blue fx always snags on me

Sabres 🔥 appreciate the content 🙏
I’m glad even though you are sponsored you still gave honest opinions that are helpful even if it’s not the company you are sponsored by. 🔥🔥🔥

@@stephenlozada7158? What do you mean?
I LOVE my saber trimmers
Surprised not to see Cyborg
@@Vegitobluuuuu cyborg is still one of my favorites, but I didn’t wanna put too many Stylecraft gamma products in the same video
Babyliss still makes the best trimmers, they just do everything good,
NAH I don’t think they’re the best anymore but they definitely make a good product
Greetings, how is the Rebel trimmer?
just off topic, is magnetic motors more forgiving than a digital brushless motor,
Yes it is
Yes it is
Nice video
Let me guess, stylecraft wins…lol
12:49 the incompatibility and headaches makes it not worth it. I’d say it was for a beginner

Gold S|C Blades Are Elite
The blades are the same, and I have not noticed any differences between black or gold
@@RUclipsBarberAcademy i say the gold blades cut better both are great , gold are elite .
🔥🔥🔥🔥
did anyone used jrl onyx trimmer?
JRL is under an Amazon link, is it real? Same with your Walmart or target links. Are they real or good enough fakes?
14:44 con the big chest that gets in the way
Over 60 for a blade not true
