Horrible first calendar for Pompey, hopefully they will start to pick up wins when they face mid table opponents. Great to see players interact with you. However, it's unwise to spend a championship season lamenting a ref decision, as it easily obscures the issues within your team. The Championship is the hardest and most unpredictable league in the world, and some would argue the most fun too.
Before you start panicking look at who you've played. And I believe it's Burnley next week, and they're porential champions. WBA did a proper job on you. But they're also getting a few breaks at the moment, and these things usually work out in the end. With parachute payment clubs in the mix top 10 would be a good position, the top six is really hard for any team.
Its not league 1 or 2 where tackles are more likely to be allowed. Chapionship is a division that gets more air time than the lower 2 . Once your players realise leaving a foot here or there won't work then you will win more games. Just be greatful your not in the premier league where you just blow on a player & its a foul. Your manager needs to tell his players to let their football do their talking. You've got more in your locker than just fouling especially when frustrated & as it proved in the beginning of both halves if your players were awake then it would never have been 2-0 as early as it was. Oh yeah & the refs are auditioning for the PL too.
@@DodgeDhanda I must admit you can’t tackle like league 1 but I do think the ref had a bad game Sunday hopefully when we play some of the weaker sides we can string some wins together & get 4th bottom -West Brom will be up there-must admit for me personally I think it’s 12 years since watching championship ⚽️but we were on the down then so the last time we were a competitive championship side apart from winning it under Harry is probably late 90s/00s & football has come so far since then the skill fitness etc I think although we’re gonna get a few hidings this season we have to enjoy the talent on show as there are some class players at this level…although a bit disappointed with your full back furlong diving & rolling around near the end that was embarrassing….see you at the Hawthorns
@PompeyInitMush unfortunately my health isn't the best & so hardly go & I do watch a lot of fans tv vlogs to see how both sets of fans saw the game. Once the next 2 fixtures are done Pompey will play the teams that you should beat . All the best for the season. I'll also check in after games & say I told you so as you start winning.
