wonderful voice...we miss M S AMMA'S voice and we need someone to replace her and maintain the same tradition as she does and representing India in a traditional way in this modern world...so that future generations will not forget our traditions and values
Replacement is the term used only for materialism. For the body there is no replacement. Once you are gone, you cannot assure yourself you will reborn again as you were earlier since you don't remember your previous birth due to your Karma. Only Baghavan is capable of rebirth in the way he wishes as he is a Karunika. So let us not think of any replacement to any human as every individual is unique and is reborn based on his Karma carried with Gyanam.
Probably you have not heard the voice of Smt. Vasantha Kokilam, pure devotion divine and mellifluous. Alas, she short lived. We had Smt. Radha Jayalakshmi, unique in their voice.
I am not here to criticize. I respect all. But feel sad to elogism.
I've been listening to Shrimati since I was 20 years old. 1967. Pacific Recordings the best of Subulakshimi ,Odeon Recordings, Merabai Bajans and much more..I'm a Buddhist and we believe that the Devis Devas can emmentaite Shrimati was such of Arya Saraswati.
@@balanr1729 you could be wrong, Shrimati was a Mahatmani and had great Merit = Maha Punyam. She might have been an Avatari . Her intention was great Maha Pranidhana

Beautiful rendition all through except in "nAnAti Brathuku" - the wrong pronunciations kind of killed it for me.
"nAnATi batuku" as well as "nAnATi bratuku" are permitted, according to Telugu-speaking folks.
+S Subramanian I didn't mean just that one phrase. 'Bratuku' is fine but there are several mistakes in the rendition of the song. I'm a telugaite myself.
OK, with many musicians it is getting common to mispronounce words not only in the alien tongue but in their own mother tongue too. They seem to think it is OK to gloss over.
