@@BrotherDoug Well I use #5 for everything. But #7 works well for thick woods too. I'm old fashioned and still like Olsen and Flying Dutchman, but there are other great blades out there now also. Either way it's usually #5 for me whatever wood species or thickness. Just my 2 cents😊

Thank you sir! Yea I really enjoy making the reindeer too and they are easy. I make them for fun throughout the year and give them away. I have a small herd currently.😊
