Today we're doing another deck walkthrough, this time it is the Archetypes Oracle from The Wild Unknown. This is a beautiful deck, I love the imagery but there are certainly a few things I find tricky to work with.

I use fanning powder on my cards. Thow them in a bag with about a teaspoon of it and toss the bag around for about 10 mins. Pull your cards out shuffle them a few times and then wipe them on a dry cloth to remove excess. I use this on almost every deck. It may leave a slight residue, but this fades with time.
I was gifted the Spirit Animal deck by her, and I immediately fell in love with her work. The colors, the artwork, it's just amazing! I bought the tarot and this will be my next purchase. I use the cards on my altar quite frequently, beauty like that just shouldn't be hidden away in a box! Also, I totally get what you mean about the small hands thing. Shuffling regular sized tarot is hard for me, it actually hurts. I'm a big girl but have small hands, so the Smith-Waite mini deck is my go-to simply because it's small!
I have the same problem with shuffling. Cards published by US Games and Lo Scarabeo are the easiest for me to shuffle. There is an Indie deck that shuffles like a dream called Terra Volatile that shuffles like a dream. Pip decks are also easier for me to use. 🙂

Definitely one of the best guidebooks in the market. And the best in all the wild unknowns.
I have used powder to help move sticky deck. Also , too take off horrible smelling deck. You can sprinkle them or put them in a bag and shake them. I find this really helps. I have seen this deck in a much smaller size on some ones channel. They said they bought it real cheap somewhere.

Add a little corns starch to sticky card and dust off with a clean blush brush and that will solve the problem of cards sticking together.
Alternatively, use a powdered magickal herb such as sandalwood powder.

I know this video is a year old, however, I just found it today! I had a reading with this Oracle deck and truly loved the insights and the artwork.

In a "decent sized" brown paper bag (lunch bag size), shake in a small amount of the fanning powder...then drop in a few of your cards into the powdered bag ....shake the bag so the cards are LIGHTLY coated on both sides and remove them...continue until all of your cards are coated...LIGHTLY
*NOTE: you are not making "Shake and Bake" chicken with a thick coating!!! Just a thin coverage of the powder, as in setting makeup...
Gather your cards back into a stack and shuffle them...make sure to finger riffle all of the edges and corners...if you can do 'bridge shuffle' that is good also....even lay them on a big table and slide them all around and into each other.
You will truly feel an immediate difference in the cards - they slip and slide together like butter!
There should not be any heavy residue of the powder on the cards. If there is, have a clean microfiber cloth handy (flat on a surface) to "polish" off the residue of the sides.
I have found that this is a good way to revisit our cards: to take a look at the divination side, and also the backside...when all is done, wrap them in their protective wrap, or place them in their bags, or back in their boxes until the next use.
We love our Tarot decks (or not as I heard from you in your deck ranking video), and they do need to be respected as the divination tools they are.

I absolutely love this deck, I can easily relate to the universal and timeless archetypes for much deeper and powerful readings. I have large hands, I brought the USA edition of this deck, there were no issues with cards sticking each other. I’m sorry it didn’t work well for you as you hoped.

I've had this deck for about one year & absolutely love the mystic card.
I have this deck, and I love it!! Definitely agree with your critique though. My small hands really struggle with it lol.
I use mine for two purposes mainly!
Firstly, the cards just happen to fit really nicely on the little pentacle I made for my altar back in highschool, so I often just (respectfully) slap a card on my altar that helps me focus on a particular aspect of life that I either want to meditate on or change in some way. They're really good for narrowing my focus in that way.
The second thing I use them for is a bit specific, but I am also an artist and a writer, and I find these cards IMMENSELY useful for developing characters. I have a personal spread that I made for this, and it works like a charm! (｡•̀ᴗ-)✧

I have all of her decks. I am in love with her art. I love how she writes and talks from experience. I love that. I am new to all this and have been a little overwhelmed on where to start. Other than that, I am in love with all the decks. Just wish I knew where to start. 😊
I love this deck to pieces, I use it in spells or as art in my room, but not in regular readings, I agree with your overall sentiments!
Hi. I am new to witchcraft. I was wondering if anyone has had an experience with their pendulum? I sound crazy to myself, long story as short as possible. when I got my pendulum I followed the "instructions". All went very well. Several days later I was getting ready to use my board and pendulum. Started out and all of a sudden I perceive my pendulum is a female with a very distinct personality. She didn't want to be in her bag but hung up so she could see what was going on.Our time was very interesting. I was away for several weeks and was unable to take out my board and pendulum. When I returned home and was ready she was grumpy and not wishing to help or cooperate. It felt like she was holding a grudge. It took a couple of times until she was "up to it". So much more but those are the basics. None of it was scary or uncomfortable. It was fun and even warm. She is definitely a diva. Am I crazy? Thank you for any help. Debbie.
omg no way, the lover is also my favorite card because i love birds and the swan is a species that stays with their partner for life, aka eternal love, like, till death do us part so i really love the association + the beautiful illustration.
I've had the tarot cards for a while from The Wild Unknown, I didn't know that there were more. I got The Wild Unknown tarot deck from a barns and noble.
I had this with many decks and what I do is browsing the cards one by one as if counting them. And then back again. Done every time before using them, helps to loose them up. Hope this helps!
I'm so torn now lol. The pocket version is more compact n easy to store. The full size box is chunky but I'm in love with the package design. Each part has its own detail ❤ I might just have a thicc box on my shelf

I would like you to make a video on the Making Magick Oracle By Priestess Moon, it is a nice deck and has helped me in my spiritual path a lot. It’s a deck of spell cards that you can use to incorporate into spells or daily Magickal activities!
This deck is beautiful, for sure! Thank you for doing a review on it. I won't be getting it due to how large it is, how thick it is, and because it sticks together. I have arthritis and cannot use large decks. For sticking together, I usually will stack the cards in a slant, and riffle the top, then turn them over and do the same for the bottom. I will do this while watching tv, or listening to music. It does add some flexibility to the cards, but I don't know if that will work with this deck because of it's shape. If the creator decides to put out an edition of this in regular tarot size cards I will probably get it.

I just bought this deck! The solved the sticking cards issue. Cards matte. Wow, so much energy here! Also, so sorry for the loss of Queen Elizabeth.
Do you know about any witches from the 70s and 80s? im having a hard time searching up anyone who practiced back then.
Personally I like circular decks! The direction a card comes up, I take that as where I am in my personal life as it applies to my question or intention in the reading...just my take on circular decks!

This deck is beautiful but I’m not particularly fond of round cards.
personally, I think I'd rather a plain card box and colour in the book than all the extra details like the inside of the card box being so detailed
How can you be sure you get an authentic deck? I’m certain mine was a China Inc. knock off as it’s obviously far smaller than the one in the video.
I find that if you take them out of the box and put them in a bag and carry them around for a while they tend to soften up.. the jostling, slipping and sliding causes friction and wears away the static electricity and or the plastic coating suction. ... lol sounds gross.. lol
Hey hearth! I was wondering if you would be able to draw what you visualize for grounding and cantering and casting a circle. I feel like I would be able to learn better with a picture. I have a hard time visualizing.

Not with this deck! and do not use the booklet at all, as the descriptions have endless forms of interpretations. I would recommend you to use your intuition and wisdom from within, using this imagery to dig into your subconscious and consciousness. Or what you think the image makes you feels or sparks any thought, idea, feeling, or memory in your heart and overall experiences. This deck should be used freely and let yourself gooooooooooo.
I don't love this deck because I have small hands and it is hard to work with. I also don't really vibe with the art. That said, when I do use it this deck provides deep insight to my readings. I have considered decluttering it but each time I use it ro be sure it sucker punches me in the intuition. Lol.
