Agree with your zadorov / e. Lindholm take. Zadorov has his warts but brings it every night at $5m and has stepped up with Mcavoy and H. Lindholm out. And I like his accountability. E. Lindholm on the otherhand at $8m dropping to invisible 3C in year 1 is a disaster, full stop.
Bruins need a whole lot more than J.T. Miller to make them a Cup contender.
I agree, but any trade that makes the Canucks further from the Cup and Bruins slightly closer to the Cup would be a great move for the B’s considering how disastrous their offence has been.

Not really tbh, bottom 6 is good healthy d core is very very good, sway is starting to play way better, we really just need a guy to play the top 6, that can actually score and be an offensive weapon, if we get a guy like JT makes that 2nd line scoring a lot better than it is right now and 3-4th lines get better from coyle or poitras

Bruins will have to give up 2 good players to get him. People act like he is just going to come for nothing. Vancouver knows he is special and is probably even going to slightly overvalue him in a trade

As a Canuck fan i can tell you that every team in the league is checking in with Canucks management to see if they can pick up Milsy or Petey for free. It ain't happening as Jimmy Rutherford is there to keep the rookie Alvine from making a career ending blunder. I don't see any trade coming any time soon for Milsy or Petey, the asking price for the return doesn't reflect the desperation that an acquiring team thinks is there, for the exploitation of the over blown drama created by the media in Vancouver. Canuck management are for sure taking advantage of all the circus atmosphere and are entertaining all offers so that they may improve the team with a trade. I can assure you there has been nothing close, contrary to the media rumors. You will most likely see Boeser and a few other players dealt at or before the deadline so maybe focus on those other pieces if one is looking for a trade with the Canucks.

The Bruins don't need any more Vancouver garbage. Canucks wouldn't take Zabanajad for Miller.
Personally, I think the Bruins need to not trade for him or any other #1 center right now. It will most likely have to include draft picks and they will be further depleting an already bare cupboard. Sweeny has shown some craftiness in past trades so maybe, but I am skeptical. With few real prospects in Providence I wouldn't want to lose any of them either. Trade Frederick for pick/s .The Bruins should stay with the team we have and lick our wounds from all the picks being traded away previous years.
The Bruins have made the last 8 playoffs consecutively. It’s hard for me to discredit Sweeney and Neely for making that happen but with this team, who knows what it is. One thing for sure is we all miss Sophia!
Bruins fans are discrediting because we havent won a cup in those 8 straight years, and after making the super team in 2022-23 season, Sweeney and Neely failed to keep the core together (besides Bergeron and Krecji retiring) and wasted so many key draft picks for a rebuild

Boston would steal JT if it was for Lindhom and Zadorov. As a Canuck fan i hope we never trade JT. From a Boston point of view he is a Bruin type player through and through. He is an 80 to 100 point power centre who is tough to play against. I just don't see the Canucks getting the offer that make this kind of trade happen. Here in Vancouver we would rather see Petty go if one of these centers needs to be traded. Sometimes the best move is no move at all and that is Vancouver hopefully.

Taking on this contract would almost be as bad as the Lindholm contract 🤦 I wouldn't touch this with a barge pole. Need some 1st round picks and play the prospects. Would rather be shit for a few years if it means building a team for the future

All these teams must be nice to see your organization actually doing stuff. All Boston sports right now are refusing to actually get good players it's infuriating. I haven't watched a Red Sox game in about 3 years because I refuse until John Henry dies or sells the team.

The Jacob's are one of the richest families in the world. The Bruins pre-cap era biggest claim to fame was they held the most consecutive 1st playoffs team record. One and done then, under cheapo Harry Sinden with the Jacob's blessing. Nothing has changed under the new cap era. The Bruins only care about making the playoffs this year because of the added revenue generation. This team needs to rebuild but the Jacob's family won't let this occur. But the Bruins faithful, just keep filling the stands and getting a subpar team and the Jacob's family is laughing all the way to the bank.

Both are pretty big dusappintments(ie worst possible signing perhaps ever)… but at least the Z dude can occasionally fight and parody checks every few weeks which they need for some kind of enforcer presence… I’ like to propose a rule that we sign nobody in the future named lindholm….
