You cut off at the end there, but I agree about not running too much, especially if it's on pavement. A clay track, a dirt trail or flat sand at the beach is the way to go. Short bursts of high intensity running,(interval training)is really good.

I switched to treadmill running with great shocks, decades ago. Probably kept me from having issues with knees, hips, back, etc.
Running is the best. Better than biking.
@dj-fe4ck they're both good for cardio and leg strength. Cycling is obviously less impact on the joints.

@@dj-fe4ck Not really on the bike you can spend the whole day outdoors and explore many new areas at the same time, running is not even close when you compare it to cycling... running is way cheaper no doubt but definitely less fun and joy
💯 hindsight told me i should have done more cycling when I was training for my first and only full marathon. Being leaner made me faster than any amount in of training ever did
Listen to me I know you will. RUNNING will HIGHLIGHT any WEAKNESS in your bike POSITION. Fix up your bike position whether that’s cleats further back inline or behind the 5th metatarsal, seat lower, seat more forward, I can go on. Have a play and watch the knee pain go away. That's why i swim, bike and walk! And hard surfaces are particularly hard on my body, it just doesn't agree. Much better to leap around on grassy meadows under the rainbow like unicorns

Had you been out walking instead or been running and had to stop?
Walked for warm up then jog but felt pain so stopped in 30 seconds and rode for hours instead.

Running not good for knees
Its fine unless you are overweight
Maybe you need Harley a pair of good Nike shoes
I love running for high-intensity training. I don't have good hills close to home, so running is the only proper way to train at a very high intensity for me.
For pain, I think it's important to recognize the difference between muscle soreness and actual pain. I never had any issue training through muscle soreness. Just never run when there is any real pain.
What about goggins ?
Look how much he trains yet even on juice he struggles to run a sub 5hr marathon these days lol.
He needs to have a break from running for a bit and take back the daughter he quit on.
