- Firstly I want to say a massive thank you for everyone's support throughout 2022. It has been a great year, and I really appreciate all of the support from everyone that watches!
I wanted to make this video to spread some laughs, teaching moments, and to show that no one is perfect. I try to make my videos as clean and easy to watch as possible, which means I remove any mistakes. So sit back, relax and get ready to laugh, while I show you all of the bits you didn't get to see throughout 2022!
Let me know what you think, and if you spot your favourite project!

This video is intended for entertainment purposes only. I am still learning and like everyone I make mistakes. This is just to show my errors, mistakes and outtakes. Stay safe while turning and let me know if you can relate to any of these 👍

My videos are for entertainment purposes only. Some of my techniques might not be the "best" or safest, so when using any tool or machinery always read and understand safety/manufacturers guidelines first.
And Yes, I'm aware that wearing gloves while woodturning is considered an unsafe practice. The gloves I wear are tight-fitting and don’t have any loose threads. I wear them for the protection of my skin. This is a risk that I am willing to take, however I am still very conscious of the potential danger and I do not touch any spinning parts of the lathe. DO NOT copy my actions if you feel unsafe doing so. - Хобби

I'm glad it's not just me that these mishaps happen to, I had a chunk fly off today while trying tk use a skew. Good to see this video 👍
You see -- this video, this video is my constant reminder why I'm not a wood turner, I don't think my blood pressure would handle it. Hell, I'm barely a woodworker! Evidenced by the three major wounds I suffered this year at the hands of my table saw. But, I keep persisting - and to relax, I watch Harry and other wood turners. Thanks for sharing Harry.
Glad to know we share both foibles and (occasional) lexicon. Thanks!
Oh thank you Harry ! We're all realising that we are human !
Brilliant lol, fair play for you to showing us the tongue in cheek stuff. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤜🤛🇬🇧
It's nice to find something in common with a talented wood turner, even if it is only colorful language 🙂
Thanks for taking the time to entertain us🤪🤪🤪
Awwwwww, Harry, you ARE human after all...hahahaha. @3:47 I've never heard a log scream!!!
Nice Nice Nice. Cheers Harry 👍
It's wonderful to see such camaraderie and support in difficult times and so inspiring to hear that fluent Anglo-Saxon is ubiquitous through His Majesties lands...
I am a beginner and it is comforting to see that even a good woodturner like you makes mistakes! 😁👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Excellent video. This is the real world for many wood turners.
this is your most inspirational video to date
I have done all of these more than once LOL. Great video Harry.
Glad to see it happens to the best of us including the language.
Thanks for showing REAL life Woodturning
Thanks an awful lot for this. In a lot of ways it is more helpful and inspiring than posting perfection. I’ve just returned from a cracked ash bowl pizzed off but I now no longer feel so bad👍
Thanks Harry for showing the reality of what turners experience.
🙏🙏🙏 Thank you so much for sharing this. Made me smile lots and also reassured me lots.
I thought it was only me! X
Thank you for this video. You shows the real life of wood turning. Now I know I’m not the only one 😂...
...*bleep*, Harry...that was *bleep*ing hilarious!!!...keep up the *bleep*ing great work!!!...👍
Matt
very good "bleep" editing.
We've all been there mate
Great videos you make keep them coming in 2023
"Wood turning is so much fun". LOL! Thanks.
Thank you so much for your mistakes! We ALL do them, and we learn from mistakes, even the other’s! Great!
This makes me feel better about my own mistakes...even top-notch turners screw up occasionally! Thanks for sharing!
Your life is so blessed, just full of oh chit moments, laughter and what the heck next. Canada keep the bloopers coming
Mistakes are as important as best result...thank you for this video, now I feel less alone! Graet Harry!
Thanks for showing.. Good to know they happen to the best of us and not just newbies.
Thank you for this video. Now I don't feel bad about my own mistakes and accidents.
Kopf hoch , nicht immer alles kann gut gehen. 👍👍👍
Hi Harry I really enjoyed this video it took guts to put a video of your bloopers, outtakes and errors for us all to have a laugh at. There were some bits we're I felt sorry for you also. Thanks for a great video Amanda xx
And I thought it only happens to me.....well done
The spur drive thing happens to me every time. 🙂
This is great! Thanks for the laughs Harry!! 😂😂😂😂
Thank you for sharing this Harry! I needed a good laugh this morning lol. This kind of stuff happens to me about everytime I turn my lathe on. I always try to hold back my language but it's hard lol. Take care and GOD BLESS 🙏!
It's great that you are able to laugh at your mistakes 😄 and allow others to share in those special moments too. Thanks Harry 😊 😂🤣
This was a great watch and shone some light on the realities of the craft. Also got a good laugh out of a lot of it tbh
Now I don’t feel so bad!
Very brave to show all thouse bloopers OOPS ✴✴✴
I think every woodturner can relate to having the same things happen. Why is it never funny when it happens to you but if it happens to others its always is funny lol
Sorry but I had to laugh, thank you
To every one else take a shot when he bleeps 🥃
That explains some of those 'jump cuts' I see in woodturning videos everywhere on RUclips! It's not just you, most woodturners edit out their mistakes! 😂😊👍
🤣😂😅😆😅🤣😂😆😅🤣🤣😂😤😣😥😣😥 OH HARRY it's good to see bloopers. Ernie smith from brisbane Australia
Very entertaining - thanks for sharing.
So, I'm not the only one these things happen to? Whewww. I was thinking I was doing everything wrong
Brother good wood working very Nice 👍 my comment 📌
😂 oh my that was soooo funny
Thanks for the morning coffee laughs! Best way to start the day 🤣 you are so talented and make it look so effortless. It is good to see you go through the same crap I do. Now if I could get the effortless part down then we will be on the same ground. Also just love your accent! Great video 💞 look forward to the 2023 version.
Fast watching
Thank you for this slice of laugh, but a bit sorry for your bad experience though, sometimes things can't be explained, why stuff happens...
I think I've done all these in, oh, the last month or so...
Ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch.......
🤣🤣🤣
3:47 - that sounds like a scream
Yes, my lathe beeps a lot as well!!😬
This was great!! I assume you did get the bowl off the machine eventually, or is it now modern art somewhere?
Where wood is chopped, splinters must fall🙃
😂🤣😂
I thought it was just me
Good thing your lathe doesn't have more torque. You would hurt yourself.
you're really bad at this
