You are most welcome and thank you my friend; especially for picking up on that "2-at-a-time ..." I thought that was too good to not include in the video!
@@351cleveland8 No need for apology at all! I fully understand issues come up. I watched the video and commented on it even before I saw that you had sent me the "delay" message. Again, thank you so much, the video was great!
Nice, but I have been trying to learn fishing techniques for Clarks Hills. Most ppl I notice caught by trolling, of coure theirs multiple was dependent on bait, speed and weight. This is all new to me but as a military veteran I will adapt and learn. Any tips from long time locals is greatly helpful. Last year was 1st time on lake and only a few months, caught some but not consistent at all. It was definitely the method. This year seeing so many doing lone lining told me to get with the program, so any tips to put a smile on my face and piece techniques and styles for Clarks Hills would be great.
MrSki, first - thank you for your service! Also, thank you for checking out our video and for commenting! Please Subscribe and thank you for that too! As far as "tips" are concerned, please take it all with a grain of Salt. We all have different opinions on the "best" method. None are necessarily wrong - you just find what works for you. The Method you see us using in this video is 10-12Lb Mono line; 1/8oz VMC Mooneye jig heads; Bobby Garland Rainbow Double Silver Slab Slayer bodies (mostly); tipped with small or medium live minnows; pulled behind the pontoon at about 2mph(big motor forward at idle speed); 20 - 50+ yards behind the boat. Sometimes we are in 5ft of water, sometimes in 30+ ft of water, it just depends. We use this method to target Striped Bass but we will also pick up Crappie, White Perch and Large Mouth Bass. By Mid-May we will probably move on to some other method and probably target a different species ( White Perch or Bluegill/Shellcracker). I hope these ideas will help bring you some Joy and a Smile! Thanks Again.
