Why was I not surprised by who the anti English, race baiter, presenter was, asking this question
I watched it all and if Scotland is second Kingdom of UK, where were the Scottish flags. I never seen any, not even on the Mall or at Westminster. That said a lot.
Union Flag perhaps?
You didn't see English, Welsh and Ulster flags either you chip on shoulder nat.
@@anthonyferris8912 There were flag`s from all the commonwealth countries, so what is wrong with a Scottish flag? There should also have been flag`s from England Wales and Ulster, and I am NOT a nationalist, and don`t support any other form of nationalist. And I said all that without any insults against YOU.
@@cooperization Yes plenty of Union flags and it was obvious, there were also flags from the Commonwealth countries. So why were there no flags from the countries that make up the United Kingdom?

Those who applauded the coronation should not complain about their electricity bill.
The Tory government granted permission for the Royals to profit from offshore energy production.
I, for one, applaud the coronation and have not complained about my electricity bill. Savvy investment in offshore and other renewable technologies should be rewarded, too.

Please please why are Scots so quick to take insult at any perceived slight? I have Scotch heritage and I just wish the anti-English theme could be toned down a bit.
Take insult? Scotland barely got a mention if any at all and being the only other Kingdom in the UK with a larger Economy than Wales and N Ireland put together and we have a larger population than both put together. Considering Scotland played a huge part in the former Queens life and her mother as a Scottish Aristocrat. This was nothing about the U.K this was an English event. The Union Jack and Scotlands Stone of Destiny was the only thing to show that Scotland is part of This Union. I'm a staunch Unionist and never voted SNP in my life, we are stronger together but all this Coronation did was strengthen the Independence movement in Scotland just when they were losing support. Even I know ow it's all about England, the U.K is England. Next independence vote England gonna pay dearly and N Ireland will follow and probably Wales. What a blunder without Scotland it wot even be called the United Anymore. I mean you can't call it the UK if the only other Kingdom leaves. Sad actually when immigrants most of the Economic migrants wo hate the U.K got more of a place during the Coronation than Scotland the 2nd Countr of the U.K.

Shouldnt the question be.... Did Scotland snub the coronation?

As an American please forgive my ignorance in these matters, but, my understanding is this is a religious ceremony as head of of the church, a ceremony being held in the U.K…. in England representing the whole commonwealth. Glorious bagpipes we’re heard and the Scot Guards were there… I think we should stop the victimhood and appreciate that there was inclusiveness represented on all fronts…
As an Canadian of the Anglican faith would say your correct. First the flag is called the Union Jack and is the combined Scots, English and Irish flags so Scotland is represented on every flag pole. Second I would say actions speak Louder than words , the queens coffin passed through huge crowds of Scots mourners when it travelled through Edinburgh.

Someone said that The Stone of Destiny was under the throne chair
it was - sat encased under the seat i think
I think it’s actually because in Scotland there is No right of Kings. But that fact that it was us that handed over the Bible to his Majesty was one of the most important things of the coronation for me. I was there from Thursday camping out first time ever doing that. And I couldn’t of been happier. The Police the staff and the people were so friendly helpful and done with smiles on their faces always asking if we were all ok. Loved every minute. God Save the King forever Amen 🙏
I thought I saw the King's equerry play a prominent role 😊
Certainly will not go unnoticed by us Scots!
Glad you care so much
We don’t care if we were snubbed. We want freedom and a republic.
Mind you, England was a republic from 1649 to 1660. Long before most countries on the planet.
What a joke you whinging scots have become with your racist hatred
You're perhaps forgetting from your parochial Scottish hard done by vantage point, that the coronation was also for Canada, Australia, New Zealand and the rest of the Commonwealth countries of which he is still their head of state. 😆
I think Scotland snubbed them actually except for the knuckle trailing anti Scottish bigots that was.
I think king Charles should also take the oath in scotland wales and northern Ireland
that would suggest each country is separate sovereign nation which they are not. You can only be crowned King of a sovereign nation. There is more of a case of him also being crowned and taking an oath in the other commonwealth countries where he is head of state e.g Canada or Australia or New Zealand etc but that's for those countries to decide and they are probably happy for one ceremony and the UK to foot the bill
Let him stay out of the north of Ireland with his English crown. There is peace there at the moment and all we need is for the planters and settlers in that part of IRELAND to get ideas that they have rightful ownership of the lands they stole and plundered.
Let's put it another way - why is the Irish harp still on the royal standard? Nobody will believe you if you say it's to represent British Ulster. (I don't like using the term Northern Ireland)
When Scotland becomes independent we will eventually become a republic . Scotland and England have moved so far apart it’s now inevitable. The monarchy and indeed Westminster have always ignored Scotland apart from being a holiday destination or a resource grab! ❤️🏴

@言行一致 most independence supporters reject the monarchy as outdated nonsense regardless if they are English , Scottish or German !
I actually agree, we talked endlessly about Englands ancient monarchy but no mention was given to Scotlands. The foundation of Great Britain was when James the 6th of Scotland was invited to be King of England after all.
No it was the act of Union, go and read history
@ganndeber1621 sigh, I said the foundations. England and Scotland had 100s of years of separated kings and queens. When Queen Elizabeth died without an heir England invited James the 6th of Scotland to be its king. Both countries from that point on had the same head of state. This happened in 1604, 100 years before the act of union.

Was not King Charles 3 the 1ST King to learn Welsh?
References in Scottish, Welsh, and Gaelic should have been made for inclusiveness. Traveling to Scotland on the Flying Scotsman to be Crowned again would have signified a bond at least symbolically. It is another case of the Royal Family and Palace Bureaucracy being focused on their perceived interests rather than their true interests. It is a continuation of the tone deafness starting with the divorce of Diana, and followed through with the pushing out of Harry and Meghan. If the Royal Family’s destiny rested solely with the Palace Bureaucracy, you could put every titled stuffed shirt on a large ship and sink it. Enemies of the Royal Family could do no greater harm than the Palace Bureaucracy. I cannot wait to see the movie from Harry’s book SPARE!!!
