This was fascinating because Kyle changed up his route and Mike did too. It was the perfect storm to put Kyle down. I just wonder how much effort Apex put into studying Kyles moves because you KNOW they studied him suuper intensely.
The production quality in this WCT USA was amazing! Props to the organizers, the editors, the camera team, the emcees, and the amazing online engagement all round. Obviously not forgetting the athletes!!! Super impressed by everything. Really bringing this sport to a whole another level. Onto 1 million subscribers! I'll be backing you guys up all the way!

Masterclass, Apex are on a whole different level. I said it before, I will repeat, Rob is an absolute beast. Also the way Sliger got the evasion on Soderman was pure quality. And btw, after this match I have a new amount of mad respect for APK Grey.
We all saw that coming tbh. Props to Apex tho, overall the better team of the competition, as every single player is smart, athletic and agile. Still think Kyle deserves a Man of the Tournament award for taking such a huge part in the HF success, he's definitely the standout of the competition. Can't way to some more WCT!

Amazing! Sliger taking the sharp turn to use Soderman’s momentum against him was truly superb. Then the secret unlocked player comes in and wins it hahaha, what a match. A massive thank you to all the players and crew for the whole event and I really hope to see you back in England soon
Can we take a moment to appreciate this absolutely insane recovery by Dale though 9:13. He probably shouldnt have gone through the middle at that moment but damn this dude gave it his all.

Seriously. It's the little things like admitting you were tagged even when it's crazy close to the round end, or helping someone back on their feet. That on top of the intense fast paced rounds makes the whole sport enjoyable to watch. I haven't watched any sports in a decade, but WCT is dope.
Couldn't be more proud of my Apex coaches! Not only some of the kindest, most encouraging human beings you could ever hope to meet, but also truly great athletes! Rob was at my school working with my students in PE classes a couple weeks ago, and the kids were like, "OMG, you're Rob! From World Chase Tag!" I've been toteing the team Apex banner since the start of this event, and they came through. Way to go! And hats off to HFR. That may have been one of the most intense matches of the whole event. Congrats to both for making this far.
I fell in love with this channel after finding this series, you guys deserve so many props for all the work you do, what a great company. I admit I respect Soderman a lot but I also hope he has become a better sport over the years. Anyone who has seen him on Ultimate Beastmaster or ANW Ninja v. Ninja knows how upset he can get when things don’t go his way. Hopefully he has grown up since then because he made it really hard to root for him at times. This match is worth a finale title. Both teams seem to have studied each other, like: - KYLE seem to have studied SETH and anticipated his attitude of kamikaze style of chasing and ended up winning. I was looking for that chase since the start of the tournament, now I know what happens. I think if SETH W. could cool his aggressiveness a little bit he could have catched KYLE. - Most athletes double or dive kong the sisters but this is the first time I see an athlete jumping the whole thing instead. It was well calculated but MICHEAL showed a high IQ demonstration by changing the route all evaders go for, and it turned out to be on his advantage. That chase MICHEAL-KYLE is easily on the top chases of this tournament and one of the best when it comes to strategy-technique-power and speed. Not anyone can evade KYLE. Also, I thought KYLE would participate more to increase the chances to winning but, in the end, that would be unfair not to give every athlete the opportunity to compete in the finale match. I think if HF went in with same formation as with HF-GNF semi finales, result might be slightly different. Again, APEX roaster overall is highly fast and technical. By far the bext team in the stats. Please, make a list of top 10 chasers/evaders, and some 20 mins compilation of best matchs throughout the whole tournament. And no doubt, KYLE SODERMAN is the best athlete of this tournament. He deserves a special prize/title one way or another. ("Best athlete" maybe) See you around again, WCT. I fckn gonna miss you the next few months. Looking forward the WCT USA 2 as you planned, and if allowed/possible, make it in a spaced time span in order to give athletes some time to rest. Something I don’t see talked about enough is the insane sportsmanship shown in these matches. From the always helping each other up after a tag, and especially when the chaser admits they’ve been tagged when they could deny it for a point. Love WCT
It's very true, they're also honest about when they were tagged. Sarin from APK blue gets some heat for early shaking hands, but I mean, if that's the worst this sport has in conduct, then it's leagues above everyone else.
What a final! Tbh I was rooting for HF but I also knew that Apex would probably be too much for them. Also had it not been for that many mistakes maybe HF could have made it difficult for Apex. But can't take away anything from Apex, the consistency they have shown is unbelievable! 🙌 Kudos to Kyle and Dale for their outstanding performance. ❤️ This WCT is the first one that I've watched right from the start and I thoroughly enjoyed it. This sport following is gonna grow massively in future, looking forward to the best chase compilation and the next season!

Babe Ruth doesn't count, you can't be one of the all time best players in a sport that didn't allow black people on the field. Guy was an overweight racist pos. But if you want to give Soderman Ken G. Jr. Props then that def fits. Ken was a young phenomenal player leagues above his competition, could play any position, and sort of was like the gravity well of talent for any team he was on--but still a great rep for the sport on and off the field.

Phenomenal game to cap this WCT tournament. Congratulations to apex for winning and to everyone else for competing and making it to WCT in the first place. All we need now is to see apex go up against some of the other international/world teams! I’m liking a Kyle VS Haroon matchup as well at some point in addition to a Mark Bowles VS Haroon.

I wanted Hollywood Freerunners to win, but I silently knew it would be Apex looking at how strong they were. Everyone apart from Kyle Soderman in HF seemed to be sloppy, or maybe it was the pressure of the finals. He brought them this far. Kudos to him. Congrats, Team Apex! :)

The Best Chase Competition is coming soon - the 2 athletes involved in the best chase win $1k each & it's decided by a Facebook poll. Then we have the Backyard Flight Club which is an experimental individual format. After that, its WCT USA'21 and then WCT5 at the end of the year.
Ah man I'm four hours late, but that match was still exciting nonetheless. All the athletes performed so amazingly and I just can't wait to see what WCT 5 will be like. Props to all the editors and its crew for making this incredible WCT championship possible, we appreciate and can't wait for what's to come.

Tbh I was rooting for HF but I also knew that Apex would probably be too much for them.
Also had it not been for that many mistakes maybe HF could have made it difficult for Apex.
But can't take away anything from Apex, the consistency they have shown is unbelievable! 🙌

This WCT is the first one that I've watched right from the start and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
This sport following is gonna grow massively in future, looking forward to the best chase compilation and the next season!

I'd like to think 50 years from now when WCT is a super famous sport, Kyle Soderman will be remembered in the same light that Pelé or Babe Ruth are remembered now
Babe Ruth doesn't count, you can't be one of the all time best players in a sport that didn't allow black people on the field. Guy was an overweight racist pos. But if you want to give Soderman Ken G. Jr. Props then that def fits. Ken was a young phenomenal player leagues above his competition, could play any position, and sort of was like the gravity well of talent for any team he was on--but still a great rep for the sport on and off the field.
They would be great cops... or robbers.

Been* saying this all day long, those three, and even Antonio are good. HFR actually is a good team, they just need to handle the pressure better, thought they've made many silly mistakes

I wanted Hollywood Freerunners to win, but I silently knew it would be Apex looking at how strong they were.
Everyone apart from Kyle Soderman in HF seemed to be sloppy, or maybe it was the pressure of the finals. He brought them this far. Kudos to him.

Coming back here after watching some WCT USA 6, and the change in team skill is crazy.
Just two tags under 10 seconds, one because of evaders mistake, other caused by evaders fatigue. What a level of that final! Pace was unreal

The Best Chase Competition is coming soon - the 2 athletes involved in the best chase win $1k each & it's decided by a Facebook poll. Then we have the Backyard Flight Club which is an experimental individual format. After that, its WCT USA'21 and then WCT5 at the end of the year.

Ah man I'm four hours late, but that match was still exciting nonetheless. All the athletes performed so amazingly and I just can't wait to see what WCT 5 will be like. Props to all the editors and its crew for making this incredible WCT championship possible, we appreciate and can't wait for what's to come.

And there we go! I was absolutely shocked on Chase 12, Kyle is the best evader I think we had this tournament overall, but I don't think he has failed to catch his evader until this match.
