I was excited to see you using the MgO board, as that is what I have planned for our LGSF house build in Greece also....... I originally started planning it nearly 10 years ago and was nervous at first with MgO board due to the chloride levels, as they could end up with 'rust' streaks leeching through, but with the newer MgO boards having chloride levels of only a maximum of 0.1, that's not a problem any more! But I have planned to use all MgO board, including the roof, as in Greece we have 'wildfire' problems, just as Portugal has, and I feel an extra level of fire security with all MgO board, including for the inside walls! When we designed the frame, we allowed for the extra weight on the frame all over, including the roof. I don't know if you'll have an entertainment area on the roof, but we intend to! I'm looking forwards to seeing the next stage of this........ Best of luck and thank you very much for sharing your build with us. I've learned a lot from your videos!

They did an amazing job for you and it has helped you to see that your dream is not far away now.And doesn’t it simply look Stunning so far.Once you have finished it ,it’s going to be out of this world I am sure.With some really nice landscaping too around it later it will add to it too,with perhaps shrubs and a few small trees here and there.Or even go down the natural way and use all native plants from the region.You have some lovely plants there ,I have seen them when you took us on a walk once..I am looking forward to seeing this finished.This has given you such a boost up for you both 🥰
