Beetronics has outdone themselves, thick nasty octave fuzz paired with dozens of ways to affect the signal with swooshing, throbbing, and screeching filter effects. This pedal isnt for everyone, but if it is it's already too late, you're infected.

for me, a poor man, (in permanent search of new cheap and strange sounds) it is a bit expensive. but it's worth it for those who have free money for it.
IT'S A 'SLICER' ON THAT PEDAL, OF COURSE YOU KNOW,
a differencial its the fact of having everything compacted in a box,
in the boss gt 100 you can go further perhaps, but with several combinations of resources, or some racks of multi effects too.
in the same pedal it is more 'portable', but with less control over the result. ok, it's a delicious, nasty mess indeed.
is it possible only with some analogue pedals, what do you think?
with a vibrato, some modulations like a phaser, a good fuzz and a SLICER PEDAL I think I can get a similar sound. WITH A SYNTH FM FILTER, A SINGLE LFO, OR ANY OTHER ROBOT SOUND, I BELIEVE ANYONE CAN DO THE SAME AND GO BEYOND...

I'm a little obsessed with Beetronics, they are like little works of art. I kinda want to collect the things, but they are not cheap.. but they are sooo cool, I just never know where to start :)
I suggest just letting a bee sting you.
If you really want one of their Fuzz pedals I would suggest the Vezzpa, fuzz that can go into extreme and an octave up that can be used in latch mode, think it's a way more versatile pedal in combination with other effects than the Zzombee.
Swarm can also do some good stuff, but is again one of the less user friendly beasts, way to many options to get lost in and hard/time consuming to tweak in a live situation, they should really start to think presets with their offerings that do tons of stuff.

Can't find any info on their product page saying that it does, nor did I see it shown in any of the videos I watched, got a link to someone who shows how presets are stored and recalled?
@@JoeBaermann i think i read about the presets on bee´s instagram page, but still didn´t see a video with the presets in action...but too many videos, I saw a few until now...take a look at the toggle between the foot, seems like the presets are there! this review just covered the octave filter section, I saw the emily harpist creating great clean filter sounds!

the parasite knob is the octave volume...all other reviewers showed the pedal with and without the octave....i didnt understand why this review was so lazy about this

Some peadls are too extreme to be musical. this sounds like one of those offerings. Great to toy with, but limited in practical use.
The Zzombee can be both musical as practical too, it has a good fuzz, octave and tremolo in it, although I agree that it has to many synth like sounding options in between, really need to spend a lot of time with such a pedal to find the good stuff.
If you check the Guitar Bonedo video with this pedal you can hear some of the more traditional useful sounds it can provide.
I wouldn't get one of these though since there is way to much knob tweaking to be done to change between sounds, I rather have each effect on it's own making a lot easier/faster to use such in a live application.
I agree, this can easily be right in middle of a mix and nobody would be like "who the fuck added that weird ass pedal to their board without telling me??? I can't even sing in key now!!" However, I do feel such a way about Data Corrupter and Rainbow Machine from EarthQuaker I tried for hours with those fuckers and ended up taking em both back at same point and bought a player series mustang all "you can't make music with these here's my receipt I hate you, Trent from Guitar Center." I've seen plenty ppl turn both those into ingenious things I just didn't have the patience. Towards ends preset 2 sounded like Earthquakes Arpnoid(think that's name). Killer! Thought they peaked with the Royal Jelly but that hive is just getting started I think. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzoot suite riot throw back a bottle of....... Honey ...
