  • Visiting someone with dementia in a care home can be emotional and in many cases complicated by changing behaviour, staff interactions and all the other responsibilities we have.
In this film I chat to Caroline Brown. Both of Caroline's parents lived with dementia and she has since become a passionate advocate for both those living with the illness and those caring for them. Caroline has some fascinating insights into her experience and some really useful strategies for how to make every visit meaningful and less distressing.

You have to accept that things will never be the same……there is nothing you can do about the progress of the disease except palliative care!
