1st Cavalry is called "1st Cav" not "1st Cal."
Nice facting information👍
The chick with the WW2 bike, Rick had a heart, he should have sent her another $1,000. Mike Wolf of American Pickers wouldn’t hesitate to bless you back once he realized how much he got blessed. Though they’re both History Channel programs, we are watching a show about a pawn shop…
3:16 corey casually strolling by
There's no escaping the cameras.
*rolling* by...
can you imagine pawn shop in 200 years when there is like a dude selling some famus persons phone or somthin and the guy asks if there is something in the lirary or how many folowers he/had
even if some stuff are staged, you can get very good info and learn a lot of things
That tank was one of the best things I've ever seen in this show.
and the shot was actually fake .. they didn't really shot it, they just blow up a car.. Holywood tricks
@@ElindorBG Ah yes the holy wood
@@ElindorBG they even added too much explosives to the car, like they wanted to make it as unrealistic as possible
I'm very early. Let's talk about how Rick is cheap.
“I’m taking all the risk here” but seriously it won’t hurt him at all if he takes a loss on an item😂
Yeah tis guy is not a good guy... He takes advantage on seller
All business men and women are cheap that's how they make there money
dude thats his job
Well, they don't have to sell. All he has to do is make an offer.
Take it or leave it.
The girl with the bike is the best example I've ever seen for doing homework on something before you sell it.
She got robbed and she only has herself to blame.
Wow...she took it to a pawn shop, unbelievable.
RIP all the Pawn Shops that don’t have a buddy to help them out with everything
“So how much you want for it”
(Insert reasonable price)
“S I G H” 😤
50000 if you want w can go 40000
@ 31:55 - car door has left the atmosphere 😂💥☄️🌎
I feel Rick actually knew what the bike was and was making a ploy just to get it because he called in a friends AFTER the purchase sooooo.
Definitely one big fat scammer.
Maybe she didnt gave time to wait for the expert
I enjoy this show, but man , give that girl another 2or 3 hundred bucks for that bike !!! Oh well , business is business !! Would be a nice gesture !!!
He should of called in an "expert" about it. Lol.
250sabre, I agree poor girl got swindled...
S...
Bro if they want more money why would they got to a pawn shop?
If it was me, I'd call her up and give her another $700 so basically the $1,000 she was asking for. Seems fair for a bicycle worth $6,500. *Her grandfather was a WWII vet for cripes sake!*
“It’s more than a fair price” lowball Harrison strikes again
Rick: I can only pay you 20% of the items value, because it’s going to be a tough sell.
After buying it: Buyers are going to be lined out the door to buy this item!
that's literally what happens.
Pawn shops usually give you 1/5th of the actual value of items. Its like a universal standard for pawn shop haggling.
One episode the expert wasn’t available the son lost money.
that cart lost all value. He literally just gave him a new one and got rid of the old. GARBAGE
Some parts could've been rusted or it might've not been able to drive, so they had to replace some/all parts.. That's all I can really think of, you'd think collectors would love for it to drive.
I wouldn't call it garbage either, it's a beautiful piece..
He has her address, he could make the choice to send her a few extra bucks. "A Steal" is literal in this case.
Poor girl. I really do love Pawn Stars but it was very upsetting. Especially, expert was called in after customer left.
She deserves it for trying to sell a piece of her families history
@@iammole1629 ... she’s trying to get an education... I’m sure grandpa would want Her to have a good live
@@NameThatIsJust She did get an education. It was an expensive one. It is easy to make $500 than selling granda's bike.
She could have mentioned it was her grandfathers and she was selling it to make money for college. I think Rick would have come up to $750.00 without even knowing the value. Too bad the expert wasn’t first. $ 1,500 easily. Chumley would have given her $500 for date with her
This dude rick really gotta exhale hard every time someone makes him a half decent offer? Mans like a do it all gamestop. $1000? Ill give you $17 bucks for it
Customer: "I have the original Constitution signed by George Washington himself."
Rick: "Best I can do is Chumlee signing an empty Pop Tart wrapper and I am taking all the risk."
The Sherman was a notoriously bad tank. Very little armor, cramped, and lightly armed
It’s really amazing that none of these experts are ever busy when Rick calls them up to appraise random pawn shop items.
what do you expect them to be doing in broad daylight ? catching their beauty sleep ?
It's random. The sellers are scheduled with appointments to come in. The experts are prebooked for that time slot. If the experts do the appraisal in front of the seller, they will already have given the real higher appraisal off camera.
@@katroyal6309 abd get paid...everyone gets paid
I saw an episode where their art expert was busy so they bought a piece of art for a low price and when they talked to the expert he said it was worth way more lol
There have actually been several episodes where the expert was away or otherwise unavailable and one of the Pawn Stars takes a chance.
Once Rick says "Its a fair price" thats the time the seller folds. Sort of like a safe word to end the negotiation.
Pawn star's are the best watch them every day love them can't get enough of them ❤ 😍 ♥ 💕 💙 💜 ❤ 😍
3:14 love Corey walking in the back round
The jacket with all the patches is dope af! What a nice find!
Rick called that gal up and told her to come by and get $2,000 more. And Joey Dividen got 71 million. 81 million guys!
That tank blast was absolutely phenomenal 👏
Fake... slow mo it ... the car was blown up with pyrotecnics... he probably fired a training round or a blank
@@barrydavies998 absolutely correct - complete fake
They should make a compilation of Rick laughing at his own jokes
Something about Rick driving a Sherman tank through the desert just seems right lol
4:50 is sad
There's a priceless item I've always been intrigued to it's whereabouts that all the money in the world could not buy and it's the Ark of the Covenant.
That military photographers jacket was amazing and should be in a museum imo.
During deal: Yeah I dont know how much it is worth let me call a guy who cant tell us more than what it is.
After deal: Wait I know a guy who knows more and can put a value on it.
3:11 is the *Heartiest of Laughs* Rick has ever given on camera 😂🤣😂
You know chum def made a side note when he was taking down that girls info, expecially her number lol
Lol the first seller with the ww2 bike got finessed 😂😂😂 4500 dollar come up 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Learn how businesses work dumbo
need more of these hour long bangers
The ammo cart had a bar to hold onto or brace things on and the floor had criss cross design .. I understand why Rick wasn't as excited.
We just gonna ignore the fact that rick was all short of interested in the 1.5 million $ tank until it was time to play ball
50:55 Brave US soldier rescues wounded teammate on the frontline
Rick new that this bike is a good deal.
The bike is cool. It has authentic WW2 air in the tires 😎
Watching Rick negotiating throughout the years, I actually think he is a clever sneaky fella lol. He pretends to go really low to force them to bring the price down. He technically hardly ever gets a bad deal. He is always winning.
Yeah that’s low balling. Asking their price, and then asking for a ridiculously low price and then the owner drops the price they initially started with
Items that heros wore, risking their lives willingly should be either given as a gift to the surviving members of their families, or put on a beautiful display at the smithsonian museum.
They deserve better.
I feel bad for that student...
Why? She was happy, he is going to college and did no research on something her grandfather clearly valued..... Hopefully she sees this episode, it'll likely be a more valuable lesson than any course she gets in college.
Rick knew that if he called the expert he would put a high price on the bike.
The guy with the jacket was only one squadron off of the famous VMF-214 Black Sheep with Pappy Boyington which is pretty cool
