Only they have done the research and they have found that a lot of the illnesses we have are caused by the use of Glyphosate, and how it causes destruction of the interconnecting layers in various organs. Those studies have been out for quite a few years by most papers, and yet, they real kicker is looking at the rise of all sorts of diseases back in the early to mid 90s that were a result of the decade use of round up. And of course when it is found in 75% of air and water samples, it does make you wonder where it is all going right? Into our lungs before we even eat. Also, lets not forget that this substance is already an antibiotic as is, imagine that this could be a reason behind why bacteria, fungus, and many other things that can also help us, are also being destroyed in the process. Also, one should look up the use of round up and then dustbowls not too long after that 5-10 years or so.

If you pay attention, notice how many of the representatives of Bayer/Monsanto, as well as the Australian regulators don't answer the questions they were asked. Yet, everyone who doesn't have a potential conflict-of-interest are fully transparent in their answers as well as their methodology. That's really all you need. Transparent vs obscurity, when it's a matter of public safety, speaks beyond volumes.

The people cannot even grow food around their house much like mine. Their birth defects is unbelievable. Then people smoke the chemicals. I have used Roundup for many years, as did my father when I was young. Nobody in our family had any health problems that could be attributed to glyphosate, but I have recently begun to reconsider my view of it's safety. The biggest question that comes to my mind after watching this, "If glyphosate is as safe as Monsanto and Bayer claim, why would they fight so vigorously against independent or government testing that could potentially verify their claims?".

Abrasive disks, solvents, coolants, lubricants, different metals. Many are listed as know to be cancerous, neurotoxin, or irritants and provide advise on the proper use of their products to minimize risks. And all these materials don't kill plants. The last time I looked at the msds sheet for glysophate they claim the risk of cancer is unknown due to lack of testing. You need to understand how Roundup works on the weeds and plant life. First all plants have what is called the shikemate pathway, Roundup attacks this pathway, thereby killing the weeds. Humans do not have this pathway so Monsantan makes the true claim that humans are not effected by Roundup. But what Monsatan hides from everyone is the fact Roundup has multiple registrations ,also registered as a antibiotic. Why? Because Roundup is very effective in destroying the good bacteria all animal life depend on for conversion of crucial amino acids. Humans have ten times the bacteria than cells, we can not survive without the good gut bacteria, our first immune defense. How does Roundup kill bacteria, the bacteria has the same pathway weeds have, so when you eat food laced with roundup like breads and cereal much of your gut bacteria is being destroyed or severely sickened. Fact Cherrio's have 1400 PPM and Oreo cookies have 600 PPM Roundup.
Then there is a nerve agent pesticide used on seed dressings of all GMO seeds, the EPA in the 1970's warned that this pesticide would kill all the bees and fish in the rivers if ever released in America. The Criminal George H Bush worked for Monsatan and fired several of the EPA board members in support of the ban. Ban was lifted in the 1990.
Also the genetic makeup of GMO's is foreign to our bodies, GMO's can trigger an immune response because of the process used for placing genetic material in the desired cells. Must use a virus to invade the cells.

I literally used a plural in my post, your conspiracy theory is nothing but nonsense you made up based in your bias and scientific illiteracy, in science you must provide evidence. And there is no evidence to back IARC.
Go read the IARC monograph, and check what the authors of the cited reports have to say about the use of their research, or read the abstracts of the cites research.
Nothing provides evidence that Glyphosphate is carcinogenic, IARC has a terrible definition for "probable carcinogen" which is why this definition includes hot water and red meat. Stop stoking your confirmation bias by cherry picking the only thing in existence which makes this claim and go read the EPA report on glyphosphate.
Monsanto doesn't have a bad history with telling the truth this is another myth, in addition there is nothing stopping you from buying their chemical and doing your own research on its effects so your argument is moot.

So sad for the people who are really damaged by poisons. Especially when no one acknowledges them. They fight to live. Most never get their life back. The money may not even extend their life.....
I love farming. Seven generations & then the farm became a golfcourse. Mom died of cancer at 45, Dad died of chemical liver damage at 50. I worked on the golfcourse w/ my dad, I got sick all the time. When I went to work somewhere else, I got better & continued working. In 1989, my life became hell on earth from the use of Dursban, (pesticde is illegal now) My son also got sick. At the same time my cat almost died, the vet said it was from the poison. But a doctor did not find out what was wrong with my son & I until years later. We improved after 24 years, then I got hit by an herbicide cloud in 2013, (Hi-Dep 2-4,D- sprayed by professionals). It contaminated my garden, my laundry, & water storage tanks. Overnight I developed breathing problems, peripheral neuropathy, siezure, memory loss, liver enzymes elevated, etc. I fell down the steps, I was so weak I couldn't fix my hair. I have once again made improvements with God's help & an organic whole foods diet. But I'd hate to see what I went through happen to anyone else. That's why I always tell my story. Don't let it happen to you or a family member. Protect those you love.

Duke Steele did you just conveniently bypass the part in this video where it brings up the case of Derek Johnson vs. Monsanto.. (6:55) This man was awarded a huge ass lump sum due to cancer concerns related to Roundup. Just recently, Monsanto lost their 4th case relative to that one (with 1000’s more still going through the courts). A US federal judge, clear as day, declared that Roundup was indeed a substantial factor in causing Mr. Johnson’s Non-Hogkins Lymphoma and Monsanto failed to make aware of the risks. & this same verdict was decided in 4 separate federal cases so far. A jury has decided that, 4 times. 4 times lol. With many more sure to come. Obviously whatever “important mega study” you are referencing didn’t hold a candle to the valid evidence that was presented in court because if it was that mega, it should of been able to set things straight. But, that’s that. My best regards.

Sounds like Corporate farming which never works, Stop using Ammonium Hydroxide, for fertilizer. In WW2 it was used to harden the ground so planes can land on muddy ground. Why do you think so many people have their grand dads tractor and plow, but they now have to have engine blocks chained to the plow to help break the ground....?? You have turn your soil to brass. With due respect Bob I have never met a 'farmer' who doesn't use chemicals. How many acres do you farm? Where I live, outback NSW Australia, the weeds are everywhere. I guess its possible to go back to the old ways, but the productivity would be greatly reduced. Insecticide, weed killers, fertilisers are standard in modern intensive large-scale agriculture. I can fully believe someone reverting to non-chemical for small scale agriculture, but large-scale is the present and the future to feed the planet (who don't farm by the way).

    • @strudlebae5831
      @strudlebae5831 4 года назад +3

@@henrykater9728 yes I agree. I don't think we can go back to the time of large scale farming without chemicals. It's too expensive. It's a shame that's all. I'm not a farmer, i cant grow wheat and barley ( i could grow probably a few metres, but id then have the huge bother of threshing it) I think all I can do for me is grow what vegetables and fruit I can. Have a few chooks, one day I'd love 10 or so sheep and maybe a cow. Then instead of going to work for money and buying food, I spend my time making my food.
Yes there is a limit to what I can do.
No I will never be able to, or want to give up buying pre made...pasta, flour, milk, cheese, sugar to name a few.
It's just a shame that our food is often sprayed with chemicals, picked green, and the soils are getting depleted from nutrients, so the food then is less nutritious than it was/could be.
I know farmers work really hard, for often a tiny cut of what things are sold for, and that's a shame too. I wish we could go back, to a time where food was grown and produced locally but we cant. So to go forwards... Sometimes that is the hard question.

My grandfather passed from Parkinson's, at the time my dad was working in the medical field hoping to roll out e.c.t. & e.g.t treatment in Australia to help bring back the neurological function for patients such as David. The rollout was achieved, after David passed.
What did separately emerge from dad's digging was a correlation of 'farmer's Parkinsons' in the direct circles of farmers using the particular chemical. No payment or acknowledgement or warning to current users has been given. No interest in researching the safety of these chemicals on a national level had occurred at the time of his death. It is an ongoing shame.
Both my father and I remember David being confident in the safety of using these products, he has been told it was completely safe to handle, he used it bare-hand on a regular basis. This is a crime.
I never got to know my grandfather for the man that he was, all I got to see as a boy was the 10 years of decline. My parents came back from living abroad, in part to give us that time with him and my grandmother on the farm. The shame when david's persona withdrew in the first stages was immense. These materials are all subject to application controls, and you need a license to use them, meaning you have to go to training for them to get that license and then you have to get training updates. These chemicals are all regulated. No one is allowed to go dump them around major water sources. You took a highly regulated and monitored process and threw it away like Australia and US use Rwanda farming practices. And frankly, I don't think Rwanda allows you to do anything you want. This is illiterate. If there are respiratory effects, you get a hazmat suit and respirator, you apply it in a tractor away from it. We've depended upon the chemical industry, unlike the pharmaceutical industry,😂😂 to safeguard our health by self-policing and that's not working out so well. We need governmental studies, independent of the industry, to test the most widely used chemicals. But that requires a robust government agency. So that would mean one run by Democrats. Not Republicans or Libertarians.
Having said that the case against this particular product is very murky. Only recently did the French agency IRAC rate this as a possible carcinogen even though its been widely used now almost 50 years. And I can tell you for certain it is much safer than those week killers used before which were not only carcinogenic but neurotoxins. It may be, with more restrictive handling and better safety preparation, the use of glycophosphates may be used with greater safety.
So I have read a good deal on the subject because I lived in the neighborhood of Monsanto HQs growing up in St.Louis and was quite concerned with their cavalier attitude to chemical handling, both manufacturing, use and disposal. Back in the 90s I had an uncle and a cousin (who were father and son) and another uncle who was related to my other uncle and my cousin, who were all farmers in Greece and who used various chemicals on their crops for years. within a year of each other, the two uncles died of cancer and my cousin died of cancer a few years later. So 3 people who were farmers and used chemicals on their crops all died if cancer. Now, Greece being a small country both geographically and economically, imported these chemical products. I can't say if one of the products they used was round up or if any of the products were from Monsanto at all. what I do know is that, and as the guy in the video said, they work with regulators of other countries to get there products certified for use, the Greek government or regulator, ALWAYS gave a warning to ALL the farmers when buying chemicals that they should wear correct safety suits, masks and head gear and gum boots because the products were carcinogenic. Now this means that at least one govern ir regulator in the world (and Im not saying they are Monsanto products) not only accepted the fact that farm chemical products were carcinogenic but also warned and told farmers what they needed to do to mitigate the risks. Unfortunately people being people, my uncles and cousins were like yeah, yeah, or the suits are too expensive or overbearing to wear etc, and they paid the ultimate price. the fact is however that regulators and governments and even industry CAN accept the risk and at the same time, instigate measures to mitigate or negate the risk all together. So they are using glyphosate resistant GMO plants. So the farmers can spray glyphosate and kill weeds and killing only the weeds not the resistant crop with glyphosate chemistry part of the genome making the crop immune to being sprayed with glyphosate, right? I was trained to do this commercial spraying, they taught us in our pesticide applicator seminars how to NOT need to use pesticides.
I hope someone noticed this gal without gloves, with absolutely no skin/respiratory protection for this level of spray?
We were taught in Pesticide Applicator Licensing how to READ THE MSDS sheets FIVE TIMES before EVERY SINGLE USE every single time any pesticide (fungicide, herbicide, miticide...and 'cide chemical') is used. I don't think these people, to include all you wonderful intelligent farmers read that stuff even one time. If you had you would be wearing proper attire, practicing proper, rather high maintenance protocols and well, if you farmers knew better and were able to reduce your monetary expectations just a tiny bit, you WOULD NOT CARE ABOUT WEEDS. Weeds? What a non problem to farmers and little gardeners. I can say this based on a decade of formal education and hands on, tractors and shovel experience...for another 40 years.
Glyphosate is one of the more ummm, low toxicity and biologically safer of chemicals. Cancer. See, this is why people are so 'herded' persuaded...made gullible. Check out the LD50 rating...
Cancer is in our bodies naturally every single second of our lives. Our immune system takes care of cancer constantly. We have a very powerful immune system, almost could be called TOO powerful. Honest. Anyway, as soon as the immune system is weakened it then allows cancer to do its thing, grow and eventually kill. But if one gets their immune system back up and thriving that immune system is able to cure level 4 cancer. Hey, don't believe me, look it up. Probably not on Web MD or Monsanto crap...
I remember this botanical chemistry guy giving a lecture, in one of our Cooperative Extension Service Pesticide Applicator seminars...'Heck, you could drink this stuff, but I won't'! Glyphosate is an amazing chemical for non specific weed 'control' if used correctly and only in extreme cases ummm, such a Japanese Knotweed control. Otherwise, one had better discover the CAUSE of the problem instead of using a bandaid on the symptom.
A plant has to be vigorously photosynthesizing for glyphosate to work. It only takes a tiny bit on a few leaves of a plant to kill the entire plant. Anymore than that such as saturating a plant, injecting it into stumps and canes...is simply a lie. Glyphosate messes up the photosynthetic system by causing certain amino acids to be blocked. Glyphosate is not some contact herbicide/pesticide. It takes 3 weeks for this to work. Just not a viable control measure at all. Should never be used routinely. But farmers are sucked into the machine and glyphosate is part of this machine, this mind set. Of course, Glyphosate would be made into the Bad Guy! How silly.
It doesn't leach, it doesn't harm biological organisms, alter the soil systems...that is what we were taught and were able to read on the MSGS sheets. Who knows what is true anymore?
I've used glyphosate a few times on a commercial basis. Usually using chemical proof gloves whetted with glyphosate or a heavy droplet size and very very sparse. I first of all READ THE MSDS sheets 5 times each and every time I decided that using this was in the best interest of environment and clients. I am a commercial pesticide applicator who was taught that there is no reason for pesticide other than ignorance. It is literally a bandaid for a problem we humans caused by not understanding what the heck we were doing...other than making money.
Farmers do not need to worry about weeds to this extent; changing the genome of vital crop plants to allow MORE spraying, but less operator time. Lame, lazy and irresponsible...and controlled by money. We are losing perspective of what the true 'culprits' are...those culprits are us humans making more and more and more to make more and more money. Need to slow down and really learn about the knowledge we read in some book or were told to use by some boss one was employed by and enslaved to?
Why oh why hasn't this focus on glyphosate not been used on fluoride? Oh my! Let us put things in perspective!!

Yeah, I'm not a fan of monsanto's gm seed purely because the yield isn't as great as naturally selected seed (farmers where I live tried monsanto seed and it wasn't as good as regular chosen seed) but if the yield was as good then I'd support it. It's all about the yield in farming... if your cousins won't talk with you it's most likely because you talked biased crap at them.
Oh, and if you have a problem with trace elements of roundup on your grain then you'd better stop drinking and showering in tap water because chemicals are used therein to kill bacteria also. It's those minute quantities of poison that give us a 70+ plus year lifespan when compared with the 50 year lifespan people had 300 years ago.

As an Iowan when the farmer at the Farm Expo says they don’t understand in California, there’s more there than we know and won’t change. The demand for corn for the world is extreme. Farmers make very little off crops. The farmers are pretty well stuck paying the prices for the seed and fertilizer and herbicides or they lose. If you look at how tall the corn is with the one farmer, that’s not normal. Corn used to be much shorter when I was growing up. The game is yields. The more bushels per acre the more money. That roundup ready corn produces more. Since our government is really bad about supporting farmers so they profit, they are stuck. Farmers aren’t idiots. They know. But they also take their career path that they feed the world seriously. Then we have to add in in Brazil they are chopping down the rainforests and farming it, the American farmer loses a lot in profit. Brazil creates competition and lowers the prices a farmer gets for their grain.

How many viewers have you annoyed in the comment column. Proud of that are you? Blah Blah is all anyone thinks when your name pops up! This has become boring and tiresome or I would have commented on the truth about corporate greed and in many ways how GMO products be they seed or retail product are not what most think they are.

The only solution I can see is to provide protective gears to farmers or whoever is going to use it, because the farmers have no other option but to use so use it with the protective gear provided by Monsanto/Bayer.

      Its much worse:
      ever heard of "soft kill?"
Monsanto is tasked with killing Americans without detection, much like dj rump, the gop, the brit crown, dictators everywhere etc, etc. Except for maybe Cubans.
This is probably the reason republicans don't want all Americans voting in elections, aside from the obvious.
These guys have been culling the world population since columbus.

elitists do NOT want all of their favorite haunts overrun with normal/average/ignorant people. These are the average people who are easily convinced it's ok to NOT wear a mask and stand as far away from others as practicle, during a pandemic. Also, these are the average people who do not believe there is even a deadly virus killing people, even as they lie on their deathbed from this virus.

We talk about farming, but in my neighborhood ppl regularly spray their yards with Roundup, not wearing protective masks or gloves. I imagine our cities are as poisoned as the fields.

I come from an agricultural background and I had no idea how much unnecessary chemicals were used in city yards until I moved to a town for 5 years. Open your eyes. At least in agriculture it’s used to feed people not for ornamental purposes!
