mah i actually learned how to play a real song on the keyboard after aproximatley 3 hours of watching this video over and over and over again :) thats crazy good.
this is an easy song. still props thats a good song and it sounds really good. i honestly i swear to god have only played the piano in middle school and i was given an entire 6 week period to learn a song. and that's my piano experience. i learned the intro (with out owning a piano) and was able to play it fairly easily with few mistakes the first time i actually tried it on a piano
I just found a keyboard today. Brought it home, set it up. I have absolutely NO musical talent/knowledge whatsoever, but I AM going to learn to play this song. I don't even know which key is which! But I think with enough practice, I can get this. At least the first couple minutes anyway. Wish me luck.
The Keyboard that ryan's using is a yamaha portable grand DGX 505, I have the same one and it's an awesome keyboard. The 505 cost us AU$1,300 it's normally more, we got a discount 'cos it was a floor model. um in euro i don't think you'll have enough money some how but there are other models, just do some research on the internet. Yamaha is a very good brand, um there's roland, casio, suzuki etc. so just look around and in the shop test out the instrument for sound and yeah. Good luck! :)

That makes sense. So its just a direct transition from the main part to the chorus then, basically? Gotta practice that, because It looks sloppy when I do it.. Though, If its just you, I'm sure you could just vamp in something..
Im not 100%, but I dont think there is another cord or key Andrew uses to make that transition. I think he just moves his hands straight to it very quickly. So its pretty much fast enough that it will still flow because of the other instrumentals still flowing and changing at the exact moment.
To anyone talking about sheet music, you can buy the whole 19 page book at Jack's Mannequin's website for $10. A song this amazing deserves to be paid for, not illegally downloaded.
